I groan for the fifth time looking at my cloths none of them are ... me. Now I am standing in my undies because I am washing my other cloths.
After stuffing most of my old clothes in a ' give to charity' box. I walk to the lounge and look at the Hermes catalog. And IM ( iris messaged ) for the items I need which a monster proof laptop and phone. And I only had to wait a few minutes till I heard a knock on my door I put on Suzie's purple silk gown which reaches my knees.
I open the door Hermes is looking at his phone and shiver the box to me. " thanks." I say. " will a lotus card work?"
" yes..." he says looking up. " oh hey Percy... you look different. "
" hopefully in a good way." I say holding out the card.
His phone changes to the card swipe machine... that's what it it called right? Anyway I just swiped and Hermes nods.
" see you around..." I say backing up to shut the door.
" Percy i hope you can go back to half-blood next summer. " Hermes says with a concerned look.
" i hope so too." I say shutting the door.
I set the box on the counter and slowly opened it taking out a matte black laptop with a slight silver tint. With a logo of a sneaker with wings on the centre. And a phone with all their necessary plugs .
On the bottom I found an instruction manual.
In a few minutes I have joined most of teenage needed apps. Instagram is something that feels weird just post pictures and videos of yourself for people to follow you, that shallow and dumb ... But I will try it.
I go to my bedroom put on some cloths that remained on my closet and left the house with the box.
During the day I used the ' Wi-Fi anywhere ' option in my phone, it was in the instruction manual. It will only last for two months before they start charging me.

Let me tell you I took pictures of me shopping, eating, walking and just doing mundane things and now I have five hundred followers... ridiculous right?
Ginger is giving me a hair cut, she Travis's friend meaning she is my friend ... The only thing shady about this is that I am getting a tattoo while she is doing my hair... these are both freebies so I can't whine.
When I a finished i tell Maddox, the tattooist to take a picture of my new tattoo before covering it up. I post it on Instagram...
I look in the mirror my new hair cut is edgy... I like it. My hands brush my newly cut side I paid them with pot. As I walk outside i find the clouds are dark looking like it will storm. I walk down the shady looking ally shoving my phone deep in my pocket. The rain starts falling, i groan continue to walk till I heard a shriek.
I spend a second think maybe I should ignore it but a " Please help me! " made me walk towards the sound.
I take out my pen and hurry down the trash covered ally that I spot it... my spot my old friend the bull-man aka Meatface.
I uncap my sword I ignore the memories of the last time I uncapped her. " hey Meatface!!" I shouted he turns around and roars an awful stench. " you really need to learn to brush your teeth" I says twirling the sword. " maybe he'll is a good place to start."
He charges but being that I am smaller I side step slicing his chest in the process. He groans and fizzle to dust. I walk to the three kids that are huddled together with closed eyes praying.
" hey... you can get up now. " I says uncapping my sword.
They look at me fearfully.
" I am not here to eat you..." I say.
They slowly stand up. " now have monsters always chased you?" They nod. " did you you run away from home?" Two of them nod but one shakes his head.
" follow me... so we can talk out of the rain." I say walking away. So it would be up to them to follow me.
Ten minutes later we are at McDonald's I just ordered for them. " so who are you? Cause I a Percy Jackson. "
With the lights on I see that there two girls and one boy. They all look like they haven't eaten in days. And their cloths are worn and covered with grime.
" I am Amelia King. " says the light skin, Brown haired girl . She had a torn Sofia the first tee.
" I am Greig Smith " the boy says wearing a jacket three sizes too big, his blue eyes shifting around the room his skin dark. I loved his attitude... it a cross between cocky and batshit crazy scared.
The last girl is shy. " I... um... I am Sharon King." She says leaning close to Amelia carrying a old teddy with buttons for eyes. She was different from Amelia she has green eyes and a dark skin complexion.
" she is my cousin. " Amelia clarifies.
" ok... did any of your parents tell you about greek mythology?" I question
As the waitress brings the food I only ordered a McFlurry i push the food to them they look at it and me and they eat
" well my mom once told me about greek gods..." Greig says inbetween the fries.
" my dad too..." Amelia says handing Sharon a burger.
" listen to me... " I say looking " it's all true now let me explain. "
I told them the whole thing. Partially mentioning my encounters with monsters and people. When I finish the they are done eating I pay for the food and walk with them that ask me questions I answer them. I hail a cab I hand Greig the money telling them they should stop at a strawberry farm. I tell the driver where to go at first he is reluctant but I give him a hundred bucks.
The cab drives away. I sigh... I should have took a picture of me killing the monster even though no one would see it... Well there is always next time.
