Hermes' Pov:

After Cordelia told Zeus that we were going to be married, she walked out with Aphrodite following her. I was going to go back to my house and get the mail started but the next thing I knew I was being pulled away by Apollo. Oh crap, I'm in for it now. He pulled me all the way to his house. He threw me onto the couch and stood in front of me. He looked really mad, I mean I know that I was his best friend and everything but it wasn't like I was actually marrying her.

Apollo: DUDE, YOU KNOW HOW I FEEL ABOUT HER AND YOU AGREE TO MARRY HER. SHE IS THE REASON WHY I AM SO HAPPY.

Me: Apollo-

Apollo: NO, YOU LISTEN TO ME NOW. WHY WOULD YOU MARRY HER? I THOUGHT YOU DIDN'T LIKE HER LIKE THAT. I THOUGHT YOU LIKED PERSEPHONE OR APHRODITE. 

Me: Well, maybe I have always liked her and now that I know that I have a chance I'll go after her. 

Apollo: You are actually going to marry her.

He had a heartbroken look on his face and I felt awful for telling him straight up about how I feel about this whole situation. He deserves to know, but if he does it would ruin the plan. 

Me: Well....

Aphrodite came out of no where and she looked out of breath. That's definitely a first. 

Aphrodite: Apollo, we have a problem. 

Me: Uh...should I go? 

Aphrodite: Yes. 

Apollo: No. 

Aphrodite gave him a look and then basically threw me out of the house. Well...I guess I can go do my mail now. I was walking to my house when I walked by Ares and Athena. 

Athena: Alright, so what is the plan exactly? 

Both Ares and I looked at her like she was nuts. 

Me: What exactly do you mean? 

Athena: I'm not stupid Hermes, I know that you aren't actually going to follow through with marrying Cordelia. Yes, you like her but you know that Apollo loves her, so I ask you again. What is the plan?

Cordelia's Pov

After I saw that Apollo was one of Aphrodite's suitors, I now understand why he said no to marrying me. He was holding out hope that he would be with her. My best friend knew that I loved Apollo, I can't believe I was so stupid. Apollo probably used me as a rebound because he knows that he doesn't have what it takes to be with Aphrodite. I love her because she is my best friend but I will always play second to her. When I ran out of her house I flashed to Camp Half Blood. I walked through the border and went to the big house. There I saw Dionysus and Chiron playing card games. I walked over to them and the first one to notice me is Dionysus. 

Dionysus: Why are you here princess? What happened up in Olympus? 

Me: Did you know about Apollo and Aphrodite? 

Dionysus: No, I thought that Mr. Sunshine Boy liked you. I am pretty sure that everyone thought that. 

Me: Well, apparently I was a second choice because I went to Aphrodite's house and there were flowers and candy from Apollo. I can't believe that I was stupid enough to fall for Apollo. Is there anyway that I can stay here for a few days because I can't go back to Olympus just yet.
