"So let's start with the basics. How are you two related?" Christine asked us once we were settled and in clothes.
"Siblings. Twins." I answered the question with a blank expression on my face.
"I'm older!" Jack proudly stated.
"By 45 seconds!!" I defended my honor.
"All righty then. What are your names?" The officer proceeded to ask questions.
"Jack." My brother answered as if his name was the only one that mattered. It kinda was.
"And you?" Barker looked towards me with a conscerning eye.
"Jane." I looked at my brother who was smiling his sheepish smile.
"Okay, Jack and Jane. Where are your parents?"
Jack spoke up. "Our mom is in heaven, and our dad....he was.. supposed to be here."
Christine jotted down some notes as my brother spoke.
"Okay. Jack what was the last thing you remember?" The sheriff listened with every aspect of her ear as he began to talk.
"I remember when the bad woman burned-" I looked at my brother. "I remember when the universe screamed." He finished his thought.
Christine wrote more. "And you, Jane. What was the last thing you remember?"
I looked at my brother with a grin. "I remember when the good man was stabbed. I remember when the universe rejoiced." I answered the question, my grin spreading.
"Okay. That's all. I'm going to take your finger print and see if we can't find your dad."
Christine took our finger prints and told us to sit down while she took a call in her office.
"What the hell were you thinking? Why on Earth would you mention Dagons death! You know how much she meant to me!" I scolded my brother.
"Well at least I didn't bring back our fathers death!" Jack shot back.
"Our father? He was your father! Do you really think I would accept-"
I was interrupted by the sound of a gun cock. Jack and I both stood up with our hands in the air. Our eyes turned golden. Right before we were about to attack we felt a stinging pain rush through our bodies. We fell, unconscious on the floor.
I woke up first. Jack was laying on the ground next to me. I stood up and sat at the opposite side of the room as the other man. He looked very familiar. He began to speak. "Hi. My name's Sam. My brother Dean is-" "Stop! Just stop! You hurt my brother and now you expect me to give you answers? No. Save your talk for someone who actually cares about you and your stupid talks." I was not very fond of this Sam at the moment. He was silent after that. At least until Jack woke up.
"Hello!" Curse my brother and his social abilities. "My name is Jack, and that's my little sister Jane. We're twins!" Jack exclaimed. "45 seconds" I reminded Jack of how old he actually was.
"Uh...hi" Sam was slowly beginning to relax.
Jack grinned and came over to sit next to me. He checked me for injuries and once he knew I was fine he began to speak. Before he could a loud ringing came upon both of our ears. There were whispers hidden among them. We both winced in pain and fell to the ground. Sam came over and helped us up. Me first. "Get off of me!" I pulled myself away from his grip. He backed up and went to help Jack. Jack being the perfect boy he is graciously accepted his help.
"Are you okay?" Sam asked us. "We are fine." I answered for my brother.
"We have to find our father." Jack stated. "Yes finally something we can agree on!" I exclaimed.
"He will protect us."
"Listen, Jack that's not really what Lucifer does." Sam wanted to make sure Jack and Jane knew that.
"Lucifer? No that's not his name." Sam gave him a confused look and I rolled my eyes. "Here we go again." I whispered under my breath. "My father is Castiel."
