"My children!" Lucifer began to walk towards Jack. I stepped in between the two. "No." I confidently stated. "Ooh feisty this one! Lucifer said with a smirk. He was looking in between the us and the rest of our family.

"I just want to give Jack here a hug!" Lucifer pleaded. "I'd rather you not." I shot back at the familiar monster that stood before me. " Alrighty then!" Lucifer turned away from us and walked away with a bounce in his step. I was still blocking Jack from his view when his eyes glowed red. "Next time it won't be that easy to keep me away from my son." He threatened. He flashed a smile and turned to the Winchesters. "We'll be in touch." He said before zapping away. I turned to face Jack who was chuckling softly. "What?" I asked him, a slight grin forming from ear to ear. "I'm the oldest, I'm supposed to be protecting you." He began to laugh. I gave him a big bear hug and whispered "45 seconds."

Later that night

Ever since Jack's nightmare I insisted on staying with him. He hated the fact of me sleeping on the floor but I told him to quote "suck it, I'm staying!".

I woke up in a cold sweat. Jack wasn't the only one with nightmares. I decided to go to the kitchen to get a glass of water. The bunker was inhabited by most of our allies, so I tried my best not to wake anyone. I successfully made it to the kitchen and decided to drink my water in the library. Maybe I should brush up on monster facts I thought to myself as I made my way there. I sat down with a stack of books, knowing I wasn't going to sleep anytime soon. I closed my eyes for one split second, just to open them to see Lucifer.

"Jane."

"Monster."

"Ouch." Lucifer smiled.

"What do you want?" I was getting annoyed.

"I just want to talk." Lucifer made a pouty face.

"Fine, let's talk."

"Your not like Jack. I can feel it."

"If I'm not like Jack then who an I like?" I asked my father.

"You, my dear Jane, are like me!"

"I'm nothing like you!" I snapped.

"Oh but you are, and you know it. Maybe if Kelly had paid more attention to you, you would be good, but you like hurting people. You are a monster!"

Lucifer was right. I like hurting people. I am a monster! I don't deserve the family I love. I don't belong.

I stood up signalling the conversation was over. I began to walk back to my room when Lucifer said "just remember, the door to hell is always open, and if you don't come willingly, then little Jackie boy will have to say bye to you, and hello to the empty."

I turned to face him, but he was gone. He left me alone. Alone with only my thoughts.

I became angry. Not at Jack or Lucifer or the family I loved, but at me. I was the one entertaining the idea of leaving my family, of leaving my sunshine.

My eyes glowed gold. I threw books across the room, not caring who I woke up.

In the middle of my fit Rowena came rushing in. She grabbed hold of me and yelled "Dear, dear, calm yourself. Everything is okay." I fell to my knees sobbing uncontrollably. Rowena traveled to the floor with me. "My dear Jane, what's wrong?" Tears were rolling down my cheeks. "I-im a monster."

"Dear, look at me! You are NOT a monster. You are a beautiful, intelligent and loving sister." Rowena was beginning to cry as well. For a moment we both sat,  letting the tears fall without any words being spoken. I loved that moment. The moment I knew that my mom wasn't dead, the moment I knew that my mom had red hair and would always support me. The moment I knew, I had to leave, for everyone's safety.

"I have to leave. I have to go." I barely choked out.

"What?" Rowena asked softly.

" When Lucifer came, he gave me a sort of offer. He told me a few things that I told myself we're lies. Then, I got to thinking and realized I had been lying to myself this whole time. I tried to leave the conversation when he said ' the door to hell is always open'." I left out the part about Jack. " I'm sorry, but I have to go. I truly love this family, but if I stay, you all will be in danger."

"Okay" RO had stopped crying.

"Okay?"

"Okay, it's your life, your choices, and as much as I hate this, I understand. Just please don't hesitate to call okay? And don't worry, I'll help Jack.

"Thanks.... Mom. " I gave her a big hug.

With that, I gathered my things and left. But not before leaving a note.

Dear Family,
I had to leave, to keep you safe. I'm with Lucifer.
Sam: I'll always remember the endless nights we spent reading in the library
Dean: I'll never forget the pun wars we had about pie.
Castiel: I'll always miss our talks that we shared
Jack: Never let your sunshine fade. Your life is going to be wonderful. I believe in you, don't let my leaving bring you down.
Ro: You are amazing, you have always been there for me, and I know you will take care of Jack.
I love you all so much. Please don't hate me for leaving. I just want to keep you safe.
Love, Flower
