i wake up to the sound of my notifications being blown up. i turn my phone on and see that i have 23 messages from buffy.

buffy: cyrus
buffy: cyrus
buffy: cyrus
cyrus: what do you want?!
buffy: meet me at the spoon in 20 minutes ALONE!
cyrus: what if i don't want to.
buffy: just come on cy.

i slowly get out of tj's grasp, making sure not to wake him up. i get some clothes and walk to the bathroom. i quickly change and fix my hair.

as i'm walking back to the living room to get my phone i see amber and andi cuddling in ambers bed.

when i finally get to the living room, i unplug my phone from the charger.

"cyrus come back to bed." tj whines sleepily.

"i'll be back soon." i say as i continue to look for my jacket.

"but it's still dark outside." tj says.

"i know, i'm only going to the spoon." i say.

"what are you looking for muffin?" he asks.

"my jacket." i say digging through my clothes.

"just wear mine." he says groggily.

"okay. keep the bed warm for me." i laugh putting tj's jacket on.

"i will." he smiles.

"so buffy what did you want?" i sit down in the booth.

"i wanted to apologize for not being there for you lately. so...i'm sorry." buffy says.

"that's an awful apology." i say rolling my eyes.

"what do you want me to do? make you an entire rap like tj did? that rap was terrible by the way." she says.

"wow you really think you're going to win me back by talking bad about my boyfriend?" i sass.

"you should break up with him cyrus, he's bad news. i seen him with a girl at the park yesterday." she lies.

"that's not true. he was with me all day on the other side of town." i say getting my phone out and showing her pictures of tj being uwu worthy.

i stand up and walk out the door. buffy yells my name out from behind me but i don't listen.

it's still dark on my way back and i get an uneasy feeling, so i pick up my pace. i mean, the apartment is just a block away, i should be fine right?

at this point i'm sprinting inside the building and into the elevator. "that is so not on brand for me." i breath heavily.

as i unlock the door with the spare key amber gave me i get another uneasy feeling and i'm shaking so much i can't get the key in the hole.

i finally get the key in the hole and lock the door back from the inside.

i sit down on the bar stool to catch my breath. when i finally settle down i take my shoes and jacket off and crawl into the bed with tj.

"you took forever cy." he says sleepily.

"i know, it only took me 4 minutes to get back here from the spoon. someone was following me." i say.

"now i'm never letting you go anywhere by yourself." he wraps his arms around me making me blush. he opens his eyes and looks at me. "it's funny that to this day you still blush when i give you any type of affection." he laughs.
