kim namjoon.
"Oh, you two, what brings you here?" Miss Choi asked as she let us in in her house.
"I have something for you to approve, miss. But I'll let her talk to you first." Namjoon said.
"What is it, Mina?"
"Miss, I'm going to join the pageant." I nervously told her. I can already feel the pressure of representing the whole class. Damn. Can I back out?
"Woah, really? That's good! Glad you agreed. There's no turning back, sweetie." Miss Choi smiled.
"What about you, Namjoon?"
"Me? Uh, actually, I forgot what I was about to tell you." He said as he rubbed his nape.
"Uh-huh." Miss Choi raised an eyebrow at him while he just stare down on the floor. "I see you're doing a move-"
"I'm sorry miss, it's running late, I think we should go home now, goodbye!" Namjoon cut her off and right after he bid goodbye to the teacher, he pulled my wrist and took me out of the house immediately.
"Uhm, are you in a rush? And it's not even dark, yet." I spoke.
"Welp, I meant, mind grabbing a drink with me?" He shyly asked.
"Your treat?" He nodded at my question.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" I dragged him to his own car and he chuckled at me.
On our way to a café, I chatted with him a bit.
"You are a senior highschool student right?" I asked.
"Yup, I'm on my first senior year."
"Are you eighteen already? How are you already driving a car?"
"Um, I'm just seventeen and let's just say, I have connections. I mean, my dad has."
"Oh, that's amazing!" I nodded. "You're three years older than me and you are also a school student officer, I should call you sunbaenim, then!"
"I prefer 'oppa', it's much better, you know." He smiled at me.
"Okay then," I said, "Namjoon sunbaenim it is!" I agreed with myself. There's no way I'm going to call anyone 'oppa'. Except Jimin? Just Kidding!
"I thought-"
"You only thought!" I cut him off.
"You are something." He chuckled.
Minutes passed and we arrived at Starbucks.
"So what do you want?" Sunbaenim asked when we entered.
"Java chip frappe, please!" I smiled. He gestured me to pick a seat for us, two, while he order.
I took a seat at the corner of the café. Well, my mom might not like it to see me with a man, alone. So I took the seat where people from outside can't see me!
I saw Namjoon sunbaenim look for me, I called him and waved. When he saw me, he walked towards my place and took the sit infront of me.
Not long after, we already heard our orders, "Java chip frappe for Mina and Caramel Macchiato for Joonie!" (A/N: I really don't have an idea about how you get your order in SB, I just made this up. Lol.)
Namjoon and I both stood up to get our orders and went back to our seats right after.
"Mina, why did you pick a seat in a corner?"
"Why? Is there anything wrong with it?"
"Well, no. I was just asking and as far as I know, girls usually take seats beside a window." He pointed out.
"I'm not one of those girls and I see you already took a lot of women here, huh?"
"That's not what I meant." He laughed.
"Well, to be honest, I don't want my mom, or any relative who can tell my mom, to know that I'm at a café with a man. They are very malicious!" I explained.
"Mhm, you're a bad girl huh?"
"Well, not literally bad but I just want to oppose what my parents are planning for me. Don't get me wrong! I love them, but sometimes it's just that, they're too much, you know?"
"Ah, yes, I can relate to you. We can't reach what they want for us, sometimes." He said with a hint of sadness in his voice.
"Uhm, let's not talk about this!" I exclaimed, "so, Joonie huh? Well, it is a cute nickname." I saw he blushed at my compliment.
"Should I thank you?" He asked and we laughed together, "I see you are not calling me 'sunbaenim' when we talk to each other now." He said.
"Don't even bother asking me to call you 'oppa' because I would never! I don't even call my elder brother like that."
"Why don't you want?"
"I find it kinda flirty? Um, and I am reserving it for someone special, heh!" I said shyly.
"So, you will flirt with that someone special, huh?" He chuckled at me.
"Not really but I want someone that I am going to call 'oppa' be someone special. I know there's no point of doing that but I just want it that way."
"Mhm, mind telling me who that 'someone special' is?"
"My whole batch knows it already because of my bestfriend so I won't mind telling it to you, just don't make it spread to your batchmates!" I said and he laughed.
"Oh yeah, sure."
"I want you to guess. I'll just give you some clues," he nodded. "PJM are his initials and he's a 4th junior year student."
"Park Jimin."
Shoot! How'd he guess that so quick and easy?
"He has a lot of fangirls, I know you know that and we're on the same group."
"Same group? What group? Huh? Is he your friend? Ohmy! I shouldn't have told you!"
"Actually, it's just a secret that we are a boy group and we are planning to join our school's talent competition and yes, I am friends with him."
"I promise I'll keep that secret! Mind telling me who are the other members?"
"Uhm, sure! We're supposed to be seven but the other one graduated highschool already so he'll just be there on the competition day to watch and support us. That one I am telling you is Kim Seokjin and no, we are not related. Next is Min Yoongi, a year older than me, he's going to graduate soon. Jung Hoseok, my batchmate. Your crush, Park Jimin and his friend, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook-"
"Wait, Jeon Jungkook?"
"Yes, why?"
"Have I already told you that I am a Jeon?"
"Uh, no. I just realized that you haven't introduced yourself to me, yet. I only knew your name because of miss Choi!"
"Oh, I am sorry. I am Jeon Mina."
"What's with Jungkook, by the way?"
"He is my cousin!"
