Tammy POV
I immediately stood up when the girls got into my classroom. I walked over to them very calmly. Elani looked like she was on the brink of tears but who was I to judge.
"Are you guys okay?" I asked
They nodded.
"Okay then... let's go."
Amanda smiled.
"We aren't going to Jersey Amanda."
She put her head down and we left.
Amanda POV
"Come on Ms. Johnson, who would look for us in Jersey?" I asked as we walked downstairs.
"Amanda we can't go to Jersey." she said
"Actually I have family in Jersey we could stay with them." Elani said.
"Elani think about that sentence." Paige said
"Oh." Elani said.
"Oh! What about Connecticut?" Lily said
"Nope." Ms. Johnson said as we piled into the car. "no where to leave you guys."
"Let's go rent a hotel room!" Elani said.
"With what money." Ms. Johnson asked.
"Ummm you're a teacher." Paige said.
Ms. Johnson rolled her eyes.
Bobby POV
"So... Jo..." I said as Johanna entered the room. She looked around before she said anything.
"Hi? Mr. Williams?" she said trying to figure out who she was talking to.
"Come in" I said
"Okay..." she said
I watched her enter the room awkwardly. She continued to search for my face but I couldn't turn the light on, not yet.
"Mmm! Mmm!" A muffled voice screamed.
Immediately Jo's appearance changed.
