It was now the next day at lunch, Daron sat alone at the lunch table writing in his notepad.John had ditched Daron once again, which made Daron feel terrible. Him and John had been friends for so long and as soon as John made new friends Daron was dumped. He hated it.
Daron sighed as he scribbled out the page, maybe going too harsh on John in the poem he wrote.
He felt a presence sit across from him seconds later, he'd already knew who it was just from the vibes. It wasn't John because John either had a very chill vibe, or a angry atmosphere around him that made Daron annoyed to be around him, which wasn't the vibe he was getting.
Who he suspected sat across from him, Serj, also has a "chill" vibe, but not the same one as John. Serj's was like curling up next to your significant other by a fireplace. John's felt like petting a sleeping pet, ready to wake up at any moment and bite you for touching them.Anywho, Daron looked up and his suspicions were correct. "Hey." The taller waved, looking towards the notepad. Daron quickly closed it and put it back in his bag.
"Serj, I'm really not in the mood today. I kind of just want to sit alone." Daron spoke quietly, making no eye contact whatsoever. Serj furrowed his eyebrows and slightly frowned.
"I won't bother you. But, don't make me sit with those fame whores, I need a break." He cracked a faint smile. Daron's eyes glanced back and forth between Serj and the "popular" table, he sighed.
"Fine, just stop snooping at my notepad pages, okay?" Serj nodded, pulling out his own notepad. Daron was curious, so being the hypocrite he was, he looked at Serj's notepad once the taller opened it. Rather than writing filling the pages like his own, Serj's was filled with drawings, which Daron kind of found weird. The words "Serj" and "Drawing" didn't quite link up at all in his head.
"What happened to the no snooping thing, huh?" Serj smirked, noticing Daron's peeping eyes. The latter jumped, zoning back in.
"I'm sorry, okay!" Daron blushed. "I just wanted to know what kind of things you wrote, but I guess you don't do that." Serj chuckled.
"Do you want to see some of my drawings? I mean - they're nothing serious-"
"I would love to." Daron's face lit up, no longer feeling too sad.
Serj jumped over the table to Daron's side, almost falling in the process. "Hm, what happened to 'I'm not feeling it today Serj'?" Serj nudged Daron with his elbow.
"Shut up," Daron blushed once again. "Just show me the damn drawings."
"Patience, D." Daron scoffed.
"Whatever."
Serj opened up his notepad and handed it to Daron.
Daron was impressed to say the least, although most of the drawings were doodles, they were still better than he could ever do.As he flipped through the pages he noticed some reoccurring characters, little mushroom people, Daron laughed. "What?" Serj asked, knowing what Daron was laughing at but asking regardless, liking the reaction.
"The little mushroom people are cute." Daron smiled as he pushed Serj's notepad back. "Are you any good at landscapes?" Daron asked.
"Maybe? I haven't really drawn a full out landscape." Serj shrugged. "Why?" He questioned, closing his notepad.
"You should draw the place we were at yesterday, that place in the woods, for me. You'd probably be able to draw it very well." Serj faintly blushed.
"I'm not that good D, I just doodle. Anyways," Serj turned his body to face Daron "I can't do two things for you at once, I can only focus on one thing." Serj laughed.
