Fourth Phase - Part 1

Third Person P.O.V.

The 28 applicants who have passed the exam's Third Phase exit Trick Tower one by one for long waited breath of fresh air.

'What a nice wind' Y/N thought.

"Ladies and gentlemen congratulations on having escaped Trick Tower. Only the Fourth Phase and the Final Phase remain. The Fourth Phase will take place over there, on Zevil Island. Let us proceed." Lippo explained and flicked his fingers.

One of his men brought a troll box to him.

"I need you to draw lots." Lippo said.

"Lots?" One of the applicants asked.

"For what?" Pockle added.

"To determine who will hunt and who will be hunted. In here are 28 numbered cards. In other words, your ID numbers are on the cards. Now I need you each to draw a card, in the order by which you exited the tower. Will the first person come forward?" Lippo said.

Hisoka walked over the box and caught some attention, especially Gon and Y/N.

'I wonder how he got that wound.' Y/N thought.

He took a card and Gittarackur took a card after Hisoka in a strange way.

'That person is really suspicious' Y/N thought.

The applicants took their cards one by one and it's finally Y/N's turn.

Y/N took a card and saw the red light from the edge of the hole.

'So it recorded every card we took.' Y/N thought before walked away.

She immediately took a look and remembered everyone's ID number as fast as she could, not letting her chance slip away.

"Hey, Killua." Gon called.

"Huh?" Killua replied.

"He said something about hunting and being hunted. Does that mean we'll be fighting each other?" Gon asked.

"Yeah, probably." Killua said and whistled as he walked to the box. He took a card and returned.

Gon walked to the box and took a card. Leorio stopped first as he arrived in front of the box.

"I don't know what this is all about, but I draw with style..." He said before took his card and walked away. Tonpa walked to the box and took a card.

"Everyone's taken a card? Then, remove the seal from your card." Lippo said and everyone removed the seals.

"The card indicates your target." Lippo explained.

'#406. It's one of the twins.' Y/N thought and looked at her target then activated her telepathy.

'#46? Who is this exactly?' Her target thought and Y/N turned off her telepathy.

'What? I'm also the target of my target? Well, this possibility is really rarely happened, I wonder how it could be like this.' Y/N thought.

'But, if it's like this, I feel I could concentrate more freely, or maybe not on the second thought. Since there's people who observe and judge our performance throughout the exam.'

'Well it can't be helped.'

"This box has recorded which card each of you drew. This means that you're free to dispose of the cards if you wish. The objective is to steal your target's ID tag." Lippo explained.

"Oh, so we don't need to kill each other." The youngest of the triplets said.

'Naïve' Y/N thought.
