"Get the fuck up, bitch!" The chipper voice of my roommate, Eva Sinclair, bellowed down the hallway. Her morning person clashed with my non morning routine, but we made it work.
Her bubbly personality was eccentric and free, wild and aspiring. Those chestnut locks fell in waves down her spine naturally, forest green eyes bright with an extended excitement. Her smile was to die for, always the opptimist.
"Come on! Let's get going. We've got a full day." Those wavey strands were tossed into a messy bun, her tanned shoulder expised from the black silk robe that hung off one shoulder as sge leaned around my door way.
I groan shuffling to the edge of the bed under the huge plush comforter. "I don't want to adult today." I hiss as I leave the comfort of my bed, dragging the heavy comforter of the edge. My feet felt like concrete blocks as I stumble over to my dresser, jerking open the drawer with a loud screech of protest.
"That's what you have to do now, lazy bones." Her chuckle echoed down the hall as she retreats to her bedroom, the sound starting the eye roll that had been lurking under the surface from her wake up call. Ugh!
With my clothes in hand, I make my way towards the bathroom itching to hurry up and get finished. Classes and then work....it's gonna be a long day.

Psych 101 was boring on, dragging slowly by like a worn out zombie in search of brains to devour. I sighed and stopped my doodling on the corner of my paper, scanning around the room for the clock. My phone buzzing in my lap drew me from my current mission, Eva's name popping quickly into view.
Eva: Shay is going out with me tonight. You're coming with. 😉
I couldn't go out tonight, I had so much work to do. My paper for psych was due in a week, my math had to be complete by Friday.
Me: I can't. Homework is due. 😔
After a long pause, another vibration went off.
Eva: No excuses. You need it.
If anyone actually knew Eva "no" wasn't a word in her vocabulary. Now that I think about it, she was right. I was caught up, but I dreaded going out. Especially with Shay, she was the type that bar hopped on the daily and partying all weekend. Rumor has it she was involved with the wrong crowd, but those are just rumors and I have no proof.
I sent back a "fine" and continued to doodle on my paper once again. Time was dragging on like the end was near or something. Before I knew it, I was out of the horrid run-down building and headed to my apartment.
The way I had timed everything, I had just enough time to change and head to work. Hopefully my little broke down Ford Taurus made it to work. Even if it didn't make it, the restaurant was only a block away and I could walk from my apartment.
It wasn't much of a job, but I got good hours and made excellent tips. In reality the pay paid the bills, even if I lived off of ramen and microwave dinners. I enjoyed the little Italian place, it was a start.

"Hurry up!" Eva impatiently giggled from the living room, Shay was here and throwing back shots like there was no tomorrow in sight. I smooth out the shirt hugging my body and sighed in despair.
I hated how I looked in general. My thighs were to big, my hips to wide, and my face was fat. My eyes were a regular blue and my skin pale as snow, my lips weren't anything special, and my hair was dull. I couldn't stand the sight of my stomach, my boobs were way to big, and my shoulders were broad. I wasn't anything to look at, just your average girl next door.
