I slept all day Thursday. I was still running a fever by the end of school. I know someone stopped by to check on me. Fever reducer is not working. I finally decided to just sleep. A warm body laid down on top of me at one point. My forehead was touched with cold hands. "Still warm. Do you have any chills?"

I lifted my head up drowsily. "Hm?" I asked. "Do you have any chills?" I shook my head. "Have you bathed yet?" I shook my head again. "Let's get a bath then." He said. He untangled me from the blankets. He then carried me to the bathroom.

"Seriously?" Carson asked. "She's still drowsy. Don't worry. Besides I'm running her a bath." Matt said. "Let me see her then." Carson said. I sighed into his shoulder. "Don't fall asleep." Carson told me. I could see in the mirror where he was standing. A towel was around his waist.

I watched as Matt ran bath water before taking his shirt off. "How warm does she like the water?" Carson asked. "Steaming. To put it nicely." Matt replied. "Kay. I'm going to get dressed. Ash is about to leave for the auction." Carson said closing the door behind himself to a different bedroom.

Matt sat me down on the counter as he removed his jeans and socks. Then undressed me. The last thing he did was pick me up after discarding his underwear. A hot bath with him was always worth it. He sighed a groan. "This feels better." He said.

I curled up to his body. "I miss doing this every time we stayed at each other's place after the first time." He said. I let him wash my hair and body before he set me up on his hips letting me straddle him. He held me to his body. "Need some help with her?" Carson asked.

"Nah. I've got it. If you want to get her clothes out, she will be dried off in a moment." Matt said. Carson went through the bathroom to Matt's room. Matt finished rinsing me off before grabbing a towel. He stood up sitting me on the side of the tub.

"Starting to feel better?" He asked. "A little." I answered. He kissed my cheek. "It'll get better. At least your not puking." He said. I nodded. He wrapped the towel around my shoulders. I turned to exit the tub. He stood up as he drained the tub. Then put a towel around his waist.

He stepped out and picked me up. I kind of wanted Carson to hold me while Matt got dressed. Matt walked into his bedroom. Carson wasn't around. I buried my head in Matt's neck. "Need some help?" Carson asked entering. "Nah." Matt said.

"Let me see her while you dress." Carson said. "Nah. I'm going to get her dressed first." Matt said. "Alright." Carson said before pulling the towel off Matt. Matt set me down as he ran after Carson. Their relationship isn't bad. Carson came back through the bathroom and shut the door sitting down against it.

"Carson!" "Yes dear?" Carson asked. I giggled. "Crap there's no locks." Carson whispered. It got quiet. Carson jumped up and locked the bedroom door before checking the bathroom and going to lock the other door. He put a finger to his lips. The doorknob jingled.

"You know what would happen if one of the hands happened to walk in." Matt said. "She thinks this is funny." Carson said. "Of course she does! She was the one that started this!" Matt said. Carson snickered. He came over to me and held my clothes out. Then turned with his back to me. I put my underwear and the top on them socks and pants.

"Dressed?" Carson asked. "Yeah." I said curling up in the blanket again. He unlocked the bedroom door and got up on the bed with me. He held me against his frame. I rolled over to face him. Matt sighed behind me. After a few minutes of shuffling another body came up behind me.

"You both drive me crazy." Matt said. "That's what lovers do to the one they love." Carson said. Matt chuckled. "I guess if she's still sick, we can't do anything fun tomorrow night." Carson said. "Her fever may be breaking. Hopefully she won't have one tomorrow." Matt said putting his hand against my forehead.

He got up and was about to pick me up when Carson rolled over taking me with him. "You said I could spend time with her." Carson said. "I'll finish supper. Her temperature needs to be taken." Matt said exiting the bedroom. "Come here angel." Carson said pulling me on top of him.

"Do you feel better after a bath?" He asked. I nodded. "Come on. Let's go check your temperature." He said standing. He carried me into the bathroom and set me on the counter. Then dug in a drawer. He pulled a thermometer out and had me open my mouth.

When it beeped he took it out and checked it. "It's broke. Probably should stay home tomorrow anyway so you really get over it." Carson said. "Can't miss votech." I said. He kissed my forehead. "I'll let ya stick me with a needle." He said. I chuckled. He picked me up and discarded my blanket on his bed.

I don't mind them carrying me around. Just when I absolutely don't want to be carried is when I absolutely want to walk. Carson sat me on the barstool. "How was it?" Matt asked as he added some sort of seasoning. "Broke. Still tired though." Carson answered.

"Carson's phone went off. He pulled it out of his pocket. "School's out for winter weather." He said. Matt's then went off. "Votech is out too. Looks like we'll be hanging around here tomorrow." Matt said. "Your not going out in it." Matt pointed a finger at me.

"We'll just have to supply the house with firewood." Carson said. "And the two of us will be out in the cold." Matt said. "Ok. Knowing the other hands, they'll want to work in one hour shifts. We'll close the barn down and have whoever is on barn duty tomorrow work two hours." Carson said.
