They were friends for years. He moved away when they were sixteen. She's missed him dearly. She works for his uncle while he's gone. When he comes back, he comes back with a larger surprise. She's going to have to get used to it if she wants him bac...
When the dust settled, all of Ash's things were moved off the ranch. Matt and one of the hands went to the house an hour away to switch the mattresses from that king to the king in the master bedroom here. Carson asked me how I wanted the bathroom to be set up after taking all of the old stuff out of it.
He agreed on the design and called in a contractor. He showed them the photo and where the toilet was to be. Then went on to the kitchen. He asked how I wanted the kitchen done. I showed him another picture.

Both he and Matt agreed on it. The house was large enough to do all of this. Plus when Carson inherited the ranch he got a good sum of money to fix the house up. When the morning was over, I went home as usual, changed into a tank top and jeans before going out to see where my men were. The LPN program starts in the fall and I'm on the roster for it.
I'm definitely getting a promotion at work for the LPN training. Carson was not in the office, they were no where near the barn. I would have heard them if they were in the house. As I was putting my hackamore on Akita, they walked in. I led Kete out of the stall and checked his hooves. "Going for a ride baby?" Matt said wrapping his arms around my waist.
"Was going to look for you two." I said. He kissed my cheek. "If you both aren't busy this afternoon we can go on a picnic." I said. "Gotta fix fence angel." Carson told me. "I'll bring ya some water later if you tell me where you two will be." I said. "South pasture. All the way by your old place." Matt said. "How far is it by horseback?" I asked. "An hour or so at a walk." Carson said.
"Thirty minutes at a lope." Matt said. "Then you two better get out there." I said. They both kissed me before going to get one of the trucks. I groomed Kete and cleaned his hooves out before putting a saddle on Kete. I grabbed a saddle bag as one of the hands came in. "Are you dating both of them?" He asked. "Is there a problem with it?" I asked.
"No ma'am. Everyone is different I've got two girlfriends that don't live at my house." He said. "Do you know an Ansilee?" I asked. "That's one of them." He said. "She talks about you and the other girl all the time." I said. "You work with her?" He asked. "Yes! I'm the CNA working at the office that she's working at." I said.
"This world is too small." He said. I shook my head as he exited the tack room. I finished getting my gear together before going to load the saddle bag down with water and ice packs. Then put it on Kete and mounted. A blue Honda came down the drive. The hand that I talked to earlier was finishing up with a horse.
Two girls got out of the car. I recognized Ansilee immediately. "Holy cow. Look what the cat dragged in." I yelled. I had on my straw stetson and sunglasses. "Is that a genuine cowgirl or a wannabe?" Ansilee asked. "Genuine. You still have too much to learn." I told her.
The hand started saddling another horse. "I'm going to take water out to Carson and Matt." I told the hand. "Watch out for dogs. I think they both took a handgun with them." The hand said. "Might as well stay safe." I said dismounting Kete.
I got the one out of the safe for me. They both split the payment for it and got it registered as a ranch gun only for ranch use. I put the holster on and went back to my horse. "Heading out to the west pasture." The hand said. "Stay safe." I said before riding off to the south.
It did take a good hour to get to the southern part of the ranch. About halfway there, I had taken my tank shirt off to let my skin catch some sun. They both were hard at work when I spotted them. I dismounted Kete and led him over. They both popped their heads up when I was close enough to them. "You might need to put that back on." Matt said.
"It's hot though." I mocked. They both were shirtless too. "Did you bring us anything." Carson asked. I handed him the saddle bag. "She does use a saddle." Carson said. "It's yours." I said. "Yeah. My old one." He said. Matt and him both got a bottle and downed them.
"Man. The creek does sound good right now." Matt said. "The pool sounds better." Carson said. "After the only hand today leaves." Matt said. I knew Matt had a dirty mind. That just confirmed it. "Don't want anyone seeing stuff they don't need to." Carson said.
"Just take the saddle bag." I said. "Here." Matt said handing me a water. I took a drink out of it. "Keep hydrated." Carson said. "I will." I said before getting back on Akita. "You know, the creek does sound good." I said. They both groaned. "Not in public boys." I said. "There's bushes over there." Carson said.
I rolled my eyes before riding off. They both are crazy.
