Okay before I start the chapter I wanna declare three things;
First, how grateful I am for the large amount of votes that's been coming for the last three chapters, I know they aren't that much for any other person out there but they mean a lot to me that you actually like my writing,
Second, I'm in desperate need of a cover change so it would mean a lot to me if you made one and dm-ed it to me.
Third and last, the book supposedly starts in the middle of chapter three, exactly after Betty had opened the Blue and Gold, and before Veronica confronts Chuck about the disgusting sticky maple.
So here's chapter three enjoy......
_____
Walking into the school that morning, Blue had in mind her mother's words of trying to make friends and she thought that the group she met the day before were okay enough to act upon that advice with, so navigating through the hallways, she headed towards where she remembered the girls lockers were and considering hers was close to theirs that was a bonus.
Once she reached the one hallway that located hers and Veronica Lodge's, she saw Betty standing with Veronica putting her stuff in her locker, heading to her locker she caught Betty's eye,
"Oh, hey Blue." Betty greeted her, she had put her stuff in her locker keeping out the next lesson's binder in her bag.
"Hi, guys." she walked next to them.
"You're just on time to hear about Ronnie's date with Chuck Clayton." raising her eyebrows, Blue was impressed that with still being new to school, she managed to score a date.
"And who's that exactly," asked Blue.
"He's coach Clayton's son and the school's bad boy." Betty informed her.
"Okay,"
"So, how'd it go with Chuck?" asked Kevin as he had reached them, waving 'hello' to Blue who smiled lightly in return.
"Chuck has muscles for days, but his conversation is not the stuff of Oscar Wilde, or even Diablo Cody." Veronica declared.
"Hey, Veronica. How was the sticky maple you had last night?" a girl with her group was passing by them said after looking up from her phone.
"The what now?" Ronnie asked confused.
"The sticky maple Chuck gave you? How was it?" her friend answered her with a smug look on her face, still confused Veronica replied.
"We had a brownie sundae, if that's what you hyenas mean."
Then phones started to ring all around including Kevin's which he extracted from his pocket to see what's going on.
"Oh, my god." said Kevin dramatically making Blue roll her eyes, and Veronica turn to see what he's looking at.
"What?" Veronica said after snatching the phone from Kevin's hand and taking a look at the selfie Chuck had taken with her during their date last night with the addition of what looked like maple syrup, which is the town's most well-known business hence the named river Sweetwater, dripping all over Veronica's face.
"What the hell is a sticky maple?" asked Blue this time confused as to what the whole school is probably talking about.
"It's kind of what it sounds like, it's a Riverdale thing." Kevin answered her, turning around.
"No, Kevin it's a slut-shaming thing, and I.. I'm neither a slut nor am I going to be shamed by someone named, excuse me, Chuck Clayton," Veronica said disgustingly "Does he really think he can get away with this, does he know who I am," she completed dramatically "I will cut the brakes of his souped-up phallic symbol."
