I looked up to see who they were talking to.

There was a boy, he was smiling at me, his hair hidden in a beanie apart from his fringe.

"You're talking to me?" I asked, then on the inside I yelled at myself for sounding rude.

"Sure am, can I sit?" He was still smiling, this was weird to me but I nodded. As he lowered to sit under the tree with me, I had a chance to look at his face.

His eyes were a light green, his cheekbones weren't at the extreme but they were just enough to give him a chiselled, perfect face.

"So, you didn't answer my question." He looked at me, I quickly switched my gaze to the swans.

"Oh... Sorry, yea, they're beautiful. " I was blushing slightly.

"Do you come here often?" He asked, his face then went a bit scared. "That wasn't a pick up line or anything, I promise, that's way too corny." He quickly recovered.

I simply nodded, watching a leaf blow off a branch and into the water. The rain had picked up quite a bit, I looked over at him, we were both dry under the tree at least.

"Did I interrupt your thinking? It looked like you were focused." He was keeping his distance and not touching me.

"Not really, I have plenty of time to think. That's why I come out here, it's peaceful and calming, gives me space to think, in my head of course, I'd look crazy talking to myself."

"Nice... I normally lean on the bridge." He pointed to a wooden bridge with carvings of birds and fish in the sides. "I wanted to get out of the rain and you looked lonely here, sat alone." He looked at me with a gentle smile. I smiled back a bit.

"Oh, no kissing, this moment always turns into a kiss and I'm not into that." I said, curling my knees to my chest.

"Of course, that's fine, we barely know each other anyway." He chuckled quietly. "But we can start now. My names Wish, what's yours?"

His name is a bit strange, who would think of that as a name? But now it was embarrassing for me..

"I... I can't remember. "
