After another encounter with my irritating demon, who seems to of just settled in like a damn room mate... And a restless night of sleep. I'm planning to go on another one of my famous walks, where I vanish for the day. They're only fun for me, depressing. Right?
My mother was sat in her room sleeping off a hangover and my father was tapping away at his computer.
My demon just seemed bored, as I turned to close my door.
"Wait..." She didn't sound creepy for once, I looked at her. "Can we talk?" she asked, politely for once.
"I'm going for a walk though." I told her.
"I can steal a body! So I look normal! We can walk together and talk!" her voice hinted that she was begging, I nodded and walked out, I'm sure my parents wouldn't care about her footprints.
I stood outside the entrance to the alleyway, as much as I wasn't into murder, I was willing to give my demon a chance to be decent for once.
"I'm done!" She ran out, stepping weirdly. "I don't like shoes. My feet feel trapped, ugh." She complained.
"You have to wear them out here." I looked at the body she stole, it was a short haired girl with blonde hair and a healthy figure, her clothes were the simple shirt and shorts set.
"I liked her makeup!" She grinned.
"Oh. I didn't notice it." I shrugged and we started walking, she had a body but was bad at controlling it and had no weapons. I'll be ok. For now.
I sat down under the same tree near the lake as usual, she sat next to me.
"Want me to call you something?" I asked her, she tilted her head to the side.
"Well what's your name, that's what mine is."
"I don't know mine. I'll call you Olivia." I thought of it in a few seconds. She nodded in agreement.
"Hey, do you think that we can ever-" she started.
"Fae, I haven't seen you for a while." Wish took his headphones off and rested them on his shoulders, I patted the ground next to me and he sat down.
"So who's this?" He asked me.
"She's my cousin Olivia, she's visiting from America." I didn't want to lie to him..
"Nice, I'm Wish." He held his hand out and she shook it.
"I promise I'm not evil..." her eyes widened and she pulled back.
"You are a demon, you are nothing but evil." He looked defensive. "Fae, who is she really?"
"She's.." I sighed. "She's my demon, she's really been weak on trying to scare me the past few days and I gave her a chance to try be my friend... Why?" I looked into his eyes.
"I'm a demon hunter, I kill demons that are unable to act human, she does not feel or behave like a real human." He stared back at me. "I don't want you hurt."
"I'll be ok, and this is her first time leaving my room." I was defending a monster who tried to kill me...
"Wish, I am not accustomed to how this body works, the feelings, how to move, I will not cause any harm. I already feel... I just feel separated from my mirror. It's my haven, my safe place. Being out here is a whole new confusing world." Olivia sat up straight. "I have been threatening to kill her, but they ran dry, I could never do it, and I realised that the purpose I was trying to do it. Was pointless." She bowed her head.
"You don't have my trust fully, you will need to keep good behaviour or I will be forced to execute you." He told her in a serious tone, she nodded and smiled.
"On a less serious note, Fae as you call her, has a massive crush on you and thinks your super hot." She spilled. I put my head in my hands.
"Oh. Fae?" He chuckled lighty.
"But there's another boy, her brain is developing a liking to him. Very slowly." She was speaking as if she was all knowing.
"So I could miss out on a opportunity here?" He asked.
"I'm right here!" I complained, looking up.
"You sure are."
His fingers ran over my cheeks and he held them gently, leaning close and kissing me lightly. My face heated up and I blushed deeply. Why now...
