On the short drive back from group, I stared out the window, watching all the tress drift by, looking at all the homes were, happy, smiling people had lived. I know everyone had their own problems, but I've always dreamed of being one of those people. Just got to be happy or existed without worrying about their next melt down or getting ticked off by the dumbest things.
As we pulled up in the driveway I quickly snapped back into it, unlocked the front door, and ran up to my room. I got onto my computer and played games to distract my mind.
"bye Sweetie, I'm going to work, I might be a while since I took off yesterday. If you need anything give me a call" I heard my mom in a hurried voice from downstairs.
"okay mom, I love you"
"I love you too" mom replied.
Hours when by as I played on my computer non-stop, I was so zoned out I didn't even know it had already gotten dark out till I skipped downstairs to get some food. I looked out the window only seeing the dark shadows of the tress swaying in the harsh wind. It looked cold and bitter almost like a hurricane had started and at that very moment I forgot all that my mom said about having and late shift and got worried. What if something had happened? What if she's stuck?
I couldn't play games anymore, instead I sat downstairs, staring at the window almost forgetting to blink, "when is she coming home?" I whispered to myself in a worried voice.
Almost an hour later if felt like, I heard the sweet engine in her car. I sighed in relief, I knew that was her! I looked outside straight into the blinding headlights. She slowly walked up the driveway to the door, I couldn't wait to give her a hug and tell her how much I love her. She was then hustling for the keys to get into the door almost like she was scared, my mom's never acted like that before... I hoped down, about to open the door for her when I saw her look back, there was a shadow. An outline of a tall man. Did mom bring someone home I asked? He was walking slowly was mom freezed in horror. "please" she said "I have a son" she cried. I KNEW SOMETHING WAS UP! I didn't know whether to help her or not, my head spinning what if I get hurt or make it worse? But I need to help her! The man put a cloth over her mouth and dragged her to his car and raced of.
I bolted outside as fast as my legs let me. They were gone. I could still see the dust the car had brought up. I froze, everything had just stopped, the world, me. I dropped to my knees but couldn't feel a thing. Pain in my veins, I cried a pool of tears. Delayed at the moment of deny. "this is a joke" I laughed looking like a Loonatick.  But no, I knew it was real. Everything was in slow motion. "shell come back" I barely made out. I tried to believe that. Thinking, how scared he might be, how I just wanted a hug. How much I love her.
Until everything just changed, like a switch.  My face turned red in rage. HOW COULD THAT SICK, SICK MAD JUST TAKE SOMEONE LIKE THAT! I could feel the whole world getting warmer and warmer. "ILL KILL HIM" I screamed to the top of my lungs waking up the whole town. I hated ever living being at that moment.
I just, I just wanted to be alone.
The woman who lived next door came to my rescue. She gave me a warm hug and told me to breath. She let me sit for a while till she asked me what happened. I told her everything. I when on and on, it kind of helped. The last thing I remember after that was lying in bed for hours and hour staring that the cycling. I couldn't even think...
