DEMI P.O.V.: The rest of the plane trip, Wilmer was with his headphones on and not looking at me. As much as I wanted, I could not help being sad. This was definitely not what I expected him to do upon learning that within 10 minutes I will be moving to Chicago.
Demi: Wilmer...we're arriving (I moved his arm gently cause I thought he was sleeping. He took off his headphones and looked at me)
Wilmer: I know...I'm not deaf (his voice sound angrily and I looked to the window)
Why is he doing this?
Demi: I know you're not deaf...I just thought you were asleep, fuck! (My voice came with more anger than I thought it was about to sound)
The next minutes we didn't talk with each other again, until we were picking our suitcases.
Selena: are you sure you're gonna be okay?
Demi: I'm sure, tell Miles and Lo that I want to see them soon...maybe you can go to see me there or I'll come, and that I love them
Selena: I will (she hugged me) promise you'll be in touch everyday
Demi: I promise Selly (she kissed my cheek)
Selena: I love you sis
Demi: I love you buddy
Niall: hey, you have to tell me everything about Chicago, maybe we'll go to visit you soon
Demi: I hope so (I hugged him tightly)
Niall: be safe Demi, you know how important you're to me
Demi: I know and be safe you too
Niall: love ya
Demi: love ya (he kissed my forehead and they left. I grabbed my package and walked away from that platform. I went to the 24 door and sat in the waiting room)
My plane to Chicago leaves in 20 minutes, but I have to enter in 10. I know you all wonder about Wilmer. He left the airport once we landed. He didn't fucking say goodbye. It's sad, I know.
X: is he going to pay you more than me? (I closed my eyes as I heard that voice)
Demi: Wilmer...it's not about that
Wilmer: what is it about, then? (He sat next to me)
Demi: I have to leave this town...this town is crazy, I'm not made for this
Wilmer: this? You weren't made for New York but you were made for Chicago? You must be crazy Demi...it's the same
Demi: I don't know if it's the same but I need to find it out...for myself
Wilmer: and why do you want to find it out?
Demi: cause I want to change my fucking life Wilmer!
Wilmer: I don't get it
Demi: if I stay here, we'll be stuck forever...I can't stand our thing anymore
Wilmer: we can end everything, you don't have to leave
Demi: I do have to leave, I'm sorry but you won't understand this
Wilmer: then explain it to me
Demi: it's time to leave...sorry (I stood up)
Wilmer: don't leave...please, you promised me that you'd always be here for me, did you forget it?
Demi: I didn't and I'll always be there for you, you just have to call me (I stared at his eyes and I saw that he was tearing up)
Was he? Really? Is that possible?
Wilmer: Demi, please...we can do whatever you want to but you have to stay in Nwe York
Demi: I'm sorry Wilmer, but I know what's best for me and for now...the best is leave this town in my past (I felt a tear rolled down my face but I dried it before he could see it) I guess this is goodbye (he nodded and the voice in the mic said that they were waiting for 3 persons to start the flight)
I walked to the platform to get into the plane.
Wilmer: baby (my heart skipped a beat and I turned to see him coming closer to me) please don't do this
Demi: you don't even know what you want Wil (I caressed his cheek)
Wilmer: I know what I want, I want- (I couldn't hear him saying it now; so I kissed him)
Demi: just please don't make it harder for me...please?
Wilmer: kay (I stared in his eyes) promise me you'll be fine
Demi: I can't, but I promise you I'll try to (he smiled weakly) you don't have to call me "baby", it's okay, we were a good thing, but we need to move on from it
Wilmer: I don't wanna (I peaked his lips)
Demi: forget about me, please
Wilmer: no, never (I smiled slightly and kissed his lips one more time)
Demi: I better go now, they're waiting for me (he nodded and I went to the door of the plane. I entered and sat. The plane left and a part of my heart stayed in New York. But I was convinced this was for my best)
