Another Chance?

"Jungkook"

Jimin gulped and looked up in order to not let his tears escape.

"You hurt me" Jungkook felt his heart shatter. Jimin sounded so....broken. He regretted cheating on him. It even haunted him everyday.

"But I-I'll give you another chance." Jimin stuttered.

Jungkook felt tears falling from his eyes. He smiled. "Thank you" He ran to Jimin and gave him a hug.

Jimin blushed at his touch but slowly melted into his arms. When has it been this long since he last had hugged Jungkook?

"Here I'll take you out tonight. Get ready. You won't regret this." Jungkook smiled and parted from Jimin. He went into his room.

Jimin laughed at his cuteness. "Adorable" he said out loud.

Jimin closed the door and got ready to go out.

Jimin stepped out of his room and saw Jungkook in a suit. He smiled and blushed.

Jungkook turned his attention towards Jimin and looked Jimin up and down.

"You look sexy" Jungkook chuckled. Jimin laughed.

"Ready to go?" Jimin asked with a happy tone.

"Yep let's go. After you" Jungkook opened the door for Jimin. Jimin laughed which sounded like music to Jungkook's ears.

"What a gentleman" Jimin commented.

"Just for you" Jungkook said which made Jimin blush. Jungkook drove to a nice restaurant and parked the car.

"Wait here" Jungkook told Jimin and stepped out of the car. He went to the other side and opened the car door for Jimin.

"Haha stop you're making me blush" Jimin said softly punching Jungkook's shoulder.

They walked inside and were guided to their table. They both sat down and ordered drinks.
While they were looking on what to order, they talked about themselves since they were apart for 5 years.

"Are you guys ready to order" the waitress asked.

"Yeah can I get spaghetti with steak?" Jungkook asked.

The lady nodded. "I'll have the same thing" Jimin told her.

"Okay your order will be out in a bit" She told them and left.

"So Jimin. What did you do without me for 5 years?" Jungkook asked.

"Oh...not much..." Jimin answered. It was true. He didn't do anything but cry.

"What did you do?" Jimin asked.

"I started a career in dancing. I practiced dance for years to achieve my dream of becoming an idol. And now I'm here" Jungkook said.

Jimin just hummed in response. He was busy thinking about the past 5 years. Why didn't he move on quicker? Like Jungkook did. And why didn't it hurt Jungkook as much as it hurt him?

He felt ashamed. That Jungkook could move on quicker and follow his dream. He worked hard. And what did Jimin do? Stay in bed crying. He felt ashamed that he could've moved on and done something with his life but he didn't.

"So did you date anyone?" Jungkook asked curiously, snapping Jimin back into reality.

"Huh?" Jimin said not hearing what Jungkook said.

"Did you date anyone?" Jungkook repeated the question.

Jimin shook his head and muttered a soft no.

"How about you?"

"Well I've tried dating other people."

"How did it turn out?" Jimin softly asked.

"Eh not good. How come you didn't date anyone?" Jungkook asked.

"Because..." Jimin tried thinking of what to say. He didn't know how to say it. Was he just supposed to say 'oh because I felt heartbroken and never moved on'

Because what?" Jungkook asked raising his eyebrow.

Jimin wasn't feeling good right now. He felt weak. He couldn't move on like Jungkook did. He wasn't as strong as him. And right now it felt like complete shit. He was a failure. He could never be like other people no matter how hard he tried.
He wasn't strong. He couldn't move on. And It felt like shit.

Jimin suffered for a long time and hearing that Jungkook moved on so quickly broke his heart. Why did he have to suffer instead of Jungkook.

"Because I'm not like you." Jimin muttered.

"Here's your food. Tell us whether you need anything" The waitress set the food on the table. She shortly left after.

"Anyways Jimin. I want to change. I know I wasn't there for you, but please I know I can change. I know I can make you happy. And I regret everything I did. I'm sorry" Jungkook let it all out.

Jimin softly chuckled. "Jungkook. It's okay" But was it really?

The evening went well and they caught up on things and laughed together. They laughed over the memories they shared with each other.

"It's good to have you back, Park" Jungkook smiled. They were currently walking through the park, holding hands.

Jimin chuckled. "It's good to be back"
