Rosa placed a kiss on Julian's soft pink forehead. "I love you, treasure," she murmured.
"Mama!!" He burbled back, kicking his chubby legs and waving his tiny fists gleefully. She stroked his tuft of blonde hair and looked into his innocent eyes. They were rimmed with thick eyelashes. Julian's eyes were as blue as the depths of the ocean.
The front door opened slowly. "Peekaboo!!" John whispered in a calm tone.
"That's your daddy, Ju. We love you no matter what."
