Why are you being shy?

**LUNCH

We found a place to eat it was a burger place that had live music, and Lucky for me they were playing rock music. We were sitting in a "U" shaped booth with a couple of chairs on the other side since everyone couldn't  fit in the booth, I was wedged between calum and Ashton. I felt so small compared to them so I tried my best to sit up straight to make myself feel taller, obviously it didn't work. As we did our small talk I started to get cold, but didn't want to complain about getting my jacket back from Brooke so I sat there holding my arms to keep me warm when all of a sudden calum took off his leather jacket "man I'm hot in here. hey rose do you want to use it you look a little chilly" smiling at me "thank you calum." I said shyly, normally I'm never shy with guys, I'm very enthusiastic and confident so why do I keep blushing with calum.  As we ordered our food and drinks I started talking to Ashton about drums, because I can play six instruments, but not drums and they are my favorite thing about rock music. "You have to show me how to play, I've been wanting to learn for ages but never got the time to do it." Ash nodded "of course it's not that hard, but how funny would you look if you were in a rock band playing the drums, you would look like a 12 years old behind the drums" everyone started laughing. "Oh okay that's how you want to be, I hope you know I own 10 donut shops around the United States and friends get free food, but we are no longer friends." I pouted.

"Wait what? You own 10 donut shop? How? When?" Micheal asked, I sat up and explained " well my parents owned one in Memphis Tennessee my home town and basically when I moved here I realized I should build one here too, it became such a big thing that I start building more and now I own 10 not including the shop in Memphis since my parents originally owns that." Brooke nodded "it's crazy she's the youngest out of all of us she became wealthy by making a business than being famous" she said in awe. "Wait how old are you?" Ash questioned, " I'm only 21 but I'll be 22 in March" I said. "You also write music too, I know you wrote some that went on the top 10 billboards." Luke stated, "yea I'm known as a silent writer, which means I don't put my name on the song, I just get paid for my songs" smiling feeling good about my accomplishments. "Why don't you want to be known for your own music?" Sierra furrowed her eyebrows in confusion, "I don't want to be famous , I don't want to be know and not have the privacy that I love, so by not putting my name on the songs —" I got interrupted by calum, " so you rather have your music get recognition than your name I get that, you want people to hear your music than know you by your face." He smiled looking at me and I smiled back knowing someone understood my reasoning. "I still don't see why you can't get recognized for your hard work but that's not my business" Mali said putting her hands up in defeat.

Our food finally came, I ordered myself a deluxe burger with everything on it except ketchup. "Would you like some ketchup with your fries rose" calum asked handing me the bottle, "oh my gosh no get that away from me, I hate ketchup with a passion." I said disgusted looking at the bottle. "Yea rose is weird she will not eat it , and if she smells it she will gag it's crazy" Brooke laughed at the face I'm making still looking at the Ketchup bottle. Mali started laughing " do you remember that one time that guy tried to kiss you and you made him brush his teeth because he ate ketchup before that" she held up her hand to her mouth, trying to keep the food in her mouth while laughing at the thought,  "Stop laughing or you're going to die, and yes I take my hatred for ketchup very seriously."

" OK I'm gonna have to go to my photo shoot in 30 minutes." I said looking at my watch. "Who are you shooting for today?" Brooke asked. "The Victoria's Secret new angel line" I said and all the girls eyes about popped out of their heads, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" Mali shouted a little too loud that people around us started looking, " shut up and calm down." I said embarrassed. " wow so you're a model too?" Ash raising his eyebrows, smiling at me. "It's just a side job, just when they need extra models when some are on vacation." I shrugged. "Would y'all want to go." In my head hoping they would say no, but instantly got shouted at again by Mali "HELL YES" she said with so much excitement I couldn't help but laugh. "Just be glad I love you"

**PHOTOSHOOT

we got a Uber to the photoshoot, and I made everyone sit in the back, but still had the view to see me model and everything else that's going on. "Rosalina you made it , nice seeing you again." The director for the shoot , chance said and gave me two kisses on the cheek, "and look at you, are you being the model today because you are glam-or-ous!" I said with a sassy attitude, hearing my friends laughing in the background at how I snapped my fingers while talking. "Okay darling you come." He snapped his fingers and scurried to the dressing room as I followed. As I get my makeup and hair done, I was talking to the other models and one blonde asked "so who brought the cute guys out there because yummy" she said licking her lips, I started laughing and raise my hand to her question, "aren't they though" giggling like a bunch of school girls. CLAP CLAP CLAP " okay ladies let's go" chance said rushing everyone, while pulling an outfit from the rack and handing it to me, "here gorgeous this is for you." Taking it out of his hand to head towards the dressing room "thank you" I smiled and walked away. 

I walked out of the dressing room and into the room where The photo shoot is taken place and headed towards my friends. "LOOK!" Looking upset at what I was wearing, "wow mama, you look hot" Mali said, beside her calum just looking at me up and down with his mouth wide open, I couldn't help but look down at my feet, "wait why are you upset" Sierra asked. "It's black , I don't look good in black, I look so goth right now" I said grunting folding my arms like a brat. "Well I think black is your color" Ash said looking at my outfit and I really started to blush. "Thanks" I said while tucking in a piece of my hair behind my ear, looking at calum who looked upset at what his friend just said , do I not look good to him, maybe he's jealous he didn't say it, nah it's probably nothing. "Well wish me luck" I said waking off to the set.

CLICK CLICK pictures were being snapped and lights were flashing in my eyes and me trying to be sexy with the most uncomfortable shoes ever. "rose baby you look so great, would you mind trying on one more for me. You just look so good." Chance said handing me a white lace bra and thong to match that has rhinestones around the edges, with the most beautiful set of white wings, I gasped at the outfit and smile while holding it and walking to get changed. I walk out for the second time heading towards my friends when I see the same blonde model taking to them, as I walk up I said hello to her and she smiled "so which one is your boyfriend" she said smirking at me, I laughed and pointed at Mali "there he is." I tried to keep a straight face and Mali just held my hand. "Oh I didn't know you were-" I couldn't hold it in "no I'm kidding I don't have a boyfriend, these are my friends." I said still chuckling and Mali laughing at how she bought it.
"Oh so your saying this one is single" she said smiling and putting her hands on calum's shoulder,
"Actually I don't know if he is" I said kinda irritated at how she is trying to flirt with cal. "Well are you cutie" she said still touching him, "um yea I am" he said with a small smile, "well how about dinner, you and me." She said getting closer to him with her boobs almost popping out of her bra, "I actually got plans but thank you" he said taking her hands off of him and looked back at me with an uncomfortable smile, for some reason I was relieved that he didn't say yes and I just smiled back at him and then to her and said "maybe next time" and waved to her trying to get her to leave and she did. "Thank god she's gone" calum sighed in relief, " why didn't you say yes" Brooke asked " I mean she is a model and she's pretty hot" looking back at her "she's not really my type, blondes are nice but there's something about brunettes" she said smirking at me, I blushed why is he smirking at me?, what is he trying to say? My thoughts are interrupted when I got a pat on the back, "rose ready?" One of the photographers asked, "oh yea" I said turning in my heels towards the set to finish the shoot.
