I looked up at the big building. It was extremely nice, yet just the slightest bit dingy. Definitely not what you'd expect idols to live in. We got out of the car and walked toward the apartment building. Jhope smiled. "At least it's not a plane." He said. Suga, Jungkook, Jimin, and Tae laughed.
We neared the door and Jimin pushed it open. Once inside, we walked into the elevator. It eventually stopped and we got out, Jin taking out his key. He opened the door and we all walked in. "It's not much, but it's home." Said Jungkook. He walked over and collapsed onto the black sofa, which looked extremely comfortable. Jimin strode over and copied him, his plop slightly louder. Suga did the same, but fell asleep immediately.
RM sat on the couch, next to Yoongi. He looked up at me and patted the seat next to him. I sat down. "You are going to start school in about a week. We'll sign you up as a foreign exchange student." I nodded. He continued, "You're going into seventh next year, correct?" He asked. I nodded again.
••••••••••••••••••••••••
The first week in the new home was fun, but the night before my first day at the new school was killing me. I didn't want to be bullied because I am American, or because I can't speak Korean, or the usual, like fat, ugly, smelly, weird, or even stupid. I was terrified. That night at dinner, Jungkook took notice of me not saying much. "You okay?" He asked. I nodded, but he clearly saw through me. He sighed. "I know you're probably scared about tomorrow." He said. I nodded again. "You'll be okay though, and I think you'll make plenty of friends."
Jin looked up from his dinner. "Speaking of school, it's getting late. Jen, finish up and get to bed." he said with a mother-like tone. I sighed. I said, "Okayyyy." and stood up. I put my dishes in the sink and headed off to bed. I snuggled into the warm comforter and fell asleep.
*morning*
I woke up to Taehyung shaking me awake. "Morning," he said, smiling. " Jin hyung wanted me to wake you up. Hurry and get ready before you're late for school. " I stood up and walked over to the closet. I still hadn't seen anyone else's rooms, but if this is what they call a guest room, their rooms must be amazing. I decided to wear a blank white shirt, with black skinny jeans and red Vans. I walked into the bathroom and got in the shower.
*Time skip*
I looked over at RM while we sat at the table. "I haven't got a backpack." I realized. His eyes went wide. Jungkook leaned forward in his chair. "You can use my old backpack then." He said, smiling. I felt relief spread through my body as he got up and walked out of the room. He came back with a backpack which had clearly been put to much use. It was a black backpack, and wasn't feminine, but it wasn't manly either. Just the thing you'd expect Jungkook to wear, of course. I thanked him and walked over to the sink, which I put my dishes in. I then walked over to the couch, where Yoongi was peacefully sleeping. I sat down a few inches away from the top of his head. He stirred, but did not wake up. I pet his hair. "Yoongi wake up, it's late." I said softly. He shifted. His eyes shot open and his hand balled into a fist. When he saw me he relaxed. "Oh, okay." He said, smiling.
Jimin looked over at Yoongi, who was now sitting up. I clearly hadn't received a punch to the face. Jimin grunted his jealousy and looked away. I pulled my red sweater on over my white T-shirt. I then put on the backpack. It had a trace of cologne on it, but that could always be fixed with sugary smelling perfumes. "Let's go." RM said. The plan was for himself, Jungkook, and Jimin to go with me to sign me in for school.
After bidding the others goodbye, me, Jimin, Namjoon and Jungkook left and made our way down to the car. RM started the engine and pulled away from the dorm building. We took a few left turns, drove on the main highway for a short while, and then made a right turn. There it was. My new school. It looked nice, almost like it had just been built. Namjoon stopped the car. I got out wearily.
