The next few days went by as usual, except Taehyung was very upset. He kept scowling at Yoongi and ignored him when he spoke. This had brought Yoongi to yell, "Taehyung, listen. You need to respect me. I'm your hyung!" All Tae did was let out a very low growl.

I jumped out of the car and said goodbye to Jungkook, who waved at Jae-eun and Sooyoung as I approached them. "Hey, JaeJae." I said, laughing.

Her smile quickly turned into a scowl as Ha-yoon walked over. "Oh, hi," she said in a fake innocent voice. "Nice to see you guys." She said, smiling. Jae clicked. "You're about as fake as my smile." Jae growled. I could feel my eyebrows traveling farther up my forehead. I watched as Ha-yoon kicked Jae-eun, yanked her ponytail, and elbowed her in the stomach. Sooyoung made to punch Ha-yoon, but Jae-eun stopped her. "Don't fight my battles." She said to Sooyoung. Ha-yoon stalked off angrily.

Ten minutes into class, there was a knock on the door. Mrs. Grace opened it and a girl and boy came in. "Oh, you're the new students." Mrs. Grace said quietly. The boy nodded, but the girl stayed silent and didn't move a muscle. I noticed that the boy had hair the same color as mine, and that the girl's hair was just straight black. "Class, this is Leo and Violet." Mrs. Grace explained, not mentioning their surnames. She whispered something to them and they sat down at empty desks, Leo right next to Sooyoung, Violet at the back of the classroom.

Throughout the day, we found that Leo was loud and outgoing. He cracked tons of jokes and made funny comments. Violet, however, quietly sat in the back of the room and nobody heard a peep out of her.

Toward the end of the day, I decided to go try to talk to her. The bell rang, and I walked over to her. "Hey," I said. "Why so quiet?" She shrugged, but still didn't say anything.

Violet's POV

I looked around at the room, trying not to look at the girl. Her hair was the same color as Leo's, and her voice sounded like it should sound quiet, but was loud. I absentmindedly started shuffling my feet. "I know you're probably nervous," she said. "but you'll be okay. It isn't all too bad here. I'm Jen." She held out her hand. I shook it slightly reluctantly. Finally, I looked up at her. Her face was heart-shaped, and her hairline had a widow's peak, making her face really look like a heart. Her eyes were a dark brown and her skin was slightly tan. She smiled as the second bell rang. I stood up, put on my backpack, and followed her out the classroom door.

Leo was sitting on the ground outside, next to a boy with violently red hair, a girl with light brown hair, and a girl with deep maroon hair that was up in a high ponytail with a white bow. I sat down next to Leo, and looked down at the ground. "Hey, ya know what I just now realized?" He was saying to them. "Violet's got the same nickname as Kim Taehyung, because her nickname's V." Jen looked surprised, and slightly smiled. The girl with the ponytail giggled, and said, "Kim Taehyung is Jen's brother." Leo gasped. "No..." He said. Jen nodded, indicating it was true. My eyes went wide as I looked up at her.

Leo's POV

I noticed that Jae-eun was gazing off into the sky. "Jae-eun?" I said. "Are you okay?" She didn't move or speak. I snapped my fingers in her face. "Hello? Earth to Jae???" She blinked and came out of her odd trance. "What was that about?" I asked. She shrugged, but did not reply. I looked over at Sooyoung. My eyes traced her face, examining it closely. Then I looked back at Jae-eun. I noticed that her eyes were bright blue. "Are you wearing eye contacts?" I asked. She nodded. I looked away to see if my and Violet's car was there yet. A fancy black car pulled into the driveway, and Jen stood up. She walked away and got into the car. In the second that the door was open, I was able to recognize the face of Kim Namjoon. The RapMonster.

Jen's POV

Namjoon smiled as I got in the car. "Hey. How was school?" He asked. I shrugged. "Same as usual." I said. I didn't really feel like talking about Ha-yoon. "But there was two new students. Their names are Leo and Violet." I added. He nodded and pulled into the parking lot of the dance studio. I got out of the car and went in. "Hello Mr. Kye." I said. Lenny was already sitting on the bench, and I sat down next to him.

A student I'd never seen before walked in. "Ah, hello, Ha Woojin." Mr. Kye said. "Hello, Mr. Kye." the boy replied. He had dark brown hair, that matched his eyes. He came over and sat down next to me. He held out his hand, which had a white metallic ring on, after I awkwardly waved."Hello," he said. "I'm Woojin." I shook his hand, and, looking into his eyes, I noticed they weren't just brown. They had a sort of hazel ring around the brown, and were black in the middle. "I'm Jen. Nice to meet you. This," I indicated Lenny, "Is Airhead." Woojin laughed. Lenny scoffed. "Hello, Mr. Airhead." Woojin said to Lenny, who shook his hand nevertheless.

Zachary walked into the studio, followed by the rest of the dance class, including Sooyoung, who had joined the class sometime during the previous week. Zachary and Sooyoung immediately strode over to me, Lenny, and Woojin. Woojin looked at both of them in turn. "Hi. I'm Zachary. You are?" Zack asked, holding out his hand. "Woojin." Replied Woojin. Sooyoung wasn't the first to hold out her hand when she introduced herself, but shook his when he held out his own. Mr. Kye then called for dance class to begin.

I said goodbye to everyone and got in the car with Namjoon. We stopped at Panda Express on the way home, and when we got home everyone devoured the food in what seemed to be seconds.

When I finished eating, I checked the time and sat down on the couch with Jin, Namjoon, Jungkook, and Hobi. The time read 6:27. I heard a soft knock on the door, and watched as Hoseok got up to answer it in the other room. "It's Ji and Ji-hye!" we heard him yell. Jin shot up from the couch and bolted straight after Hoseok.

Two minutes later they came back into the room followed by a woman and a girl who looked about my age. Jin was holding a large cage. The younger girl sat down on the couch across from me and smiled. "So... You're the one they adopted?" She asked in perfect, fluent English. I nodded. "Nice to meet you. I'm Ji-hye." She held out her hand and I shook it. "I'm Jen." I said. She let go and sat back in her seat, looking around. "Where's Yoongi? I wanna see Yoongi..." She whined.

"I'm here, whiney."

We turned to see Yoongi leaning against the doorframe behind me. Ji-hye stood up and ran over to him, hugging him. He smiled; a real, genuine smile, like the ones he only seemed to give me until then. I loved it when he smiled. He didn't do it very often anymore.

He hugged Ji-hye in return until she let go and stepped back a step or two, looking up at him. "How was tour? Was it fun? How hard was it?" She asked. He laughed. "Whoa, slow down. Talk a bit slower, could ya? I don't understand turbo." He said. She slowed her pace and asked the same three questions. He answered, "It was nice, I had a lot of fun, and it was about as hard as normal."

I watched as Jin set down the cage and opened it. He pulled out a little sugar glider. I came over and sat next to him. "This is Odeng." He said. He stroked its back. The little critter made a cute noise and fell asleep. Jin stood up and walked away to his room, coming back without Odeng. I guessed he had probably put the sugar glider in its real cage, instead of the tiny one in front of me. When he sat back down, I asked, "Do you have another one?" He shook his head. "Eomuk died last year. That was my other one." He said. I frowned. "Oh. I'm sorry." I apologised. "No need to be sorry. Nothing lives forever. Besides, he's probably happy. He had a good life."
