Currently, the two girls were sitting on the couch finishing up any work they hadn't finished at school. "So," Josie continued, "about your height." Nora glanced down at the rest of her body and back up. "Yah, what 'bout it?" "Don't ya think it's a little weird that you're suddenly a little bloosh?" Josephine stated, giggling a little at the equally little nickname she gave Nora. "What in the flipadoodle is a bloosh?" Nora asked, slightly tilting her head. Josephine smirked at Nora's comment. "Don't worry about it." Nora shrugged and looking at the exquisite, shimmering ring on her finger. "I don't know about the height thing," Nora said, "but it most likely has something to do with these strange rings." Josephine toyed with hers, "Yeah, I mean, they ARE magical rings that can transport you into fictional worlds. So I wouldn't be surprised by that theory turning out to be true." There was silence for a moment, both girls staring at their rings. Suddenly Nora sat up from the comfy couch and placed her belongings in her backpack. "Nu-uh, boo. Where are you going? Daddy ain't done with this yet and I need emotionally support!" Josie stated while grabbing onto Nora's hoodie. "Here, just copy my crap. You know we work together, I won't leave you," Nora said, grabbing out her work and giving it to Josie, "Plus I wasn't going anywhere. I was just placing my things in my bedroom." Josie took the papers and smiled at Nora, content with the answer the black-haired girl gave. Nora walked passed the corner, the blue on her tips fading away by the light coming from the windows.
When she came back she had released her hair from the ponytail it was in and tucked the bundle of hair covering her right eye behind her ear. Josie liked her eye being seen this way, it was very unique and vibrant; very pleasing to the eye and gave off a mysterious aura of solemnity. Not to say her eyes weren't as pleasing as Nora's, or that she was envious of her. Her eyes were a greenish color with a slight blueish outline. They were equally vibrant, dazzling when the sunlight coated them. "Yo, keep your eye visible, it's pretty," Josie said. "If you want to look at pretty eyes look at your own, they're also pretty." Nora sat back on the couch and watched intently at Josie working. "Hey, bruh, you missed up on this part," said Josie whilst pointing at the mistake Nora made. "Ugh, I'll fix it when you're done."
The day went by quickly and it was already time to sleep. Before they went to sleep, however, they came up with a list of things to do the next day. They didn't plan to spend another day like this tomorrow. No matter how peaceful and relaxing it was, it was dreadfully boring afterward and they spend most of their time in Josephine's room doing random crap. They got prepared for bed and went to sleep peacefully; the precious rings shining in the moonlight as they slumbered.
