I walked forward, my head towards the sky as my spirits galloped in the endless horizon, the corners of my mouth turned towards heaven and my steps light as if kissing the earth. Nothing could bring me down, for I was out of reach; somewhere among the stars, my confidence roamed free, assuring me of every little wonder in me, as if counting the stars that glazed the night sky like fairy dust sprawled across the floor.

At this moment, I was invincible.

But the universe objected.

Passing a group of perfect strangers, my spirits stood stubborn. But  even the stubbornness of my gaze didn't miss the one glance, one smirk; that one pair of lips twitching into an mocking sneer,

And suddenly, I didn't feel so confident anymore.
