Recovery is a process. It's not a one night thing. You can't just wake up one day and feel happy and new as if what has happened never did. You won't automatically feel better. It may take days, weeks, months or even years. But it will happen. You'll slowly start to breathe as if there isn't always a weight weighing you down, like you're not doing something wrong everyday you go through.  You'll start loving the things that you once used to, smiling the way that brightens up the room. Some days, you my be feel weighed down, empty, but you must remember that better things are ahead. Brighter days are waiting. Slowly, you'll start living again, not just existing.

So wait, good things take time.
