Part 9- the search

The next morning fei hung arrived at moo Young's house, which used to be shared by detective Kim. Fei hung was worried that detective Kim was using a strange but somehow super effective strategy to find the culprit of the murder. She had to find detective Kim before he finds her.
"Does your dad have enemies? He's a detective so he's screwed over the lives of people before, right? There must be people with grudges against him..."
"Yeah, I did some research yesterday and found the profiles of some gangsters he sent to prison who have gang members still outside prison"
He threw 3 profiles onto the table in sandy yellow folders. Fei hung picked them up and opened the first one.

Lee hwang dal
Age: 37
Crime: murder
Sentence: 10 years

Then the next profile

Song do shin
Age: 41
Crime: operating illegal dogfights and illegal casinos
Sentence: 10 years

Then the last

Hwang min shik
Age: 28
Crime: homocide, Arsen, serial murders on 2 occasions, illegal dogfights, illegal casinos
Sentence: life + death row

"Him"
"Who?"
"Hwang min shik"
"How do you know?"
"Lee hwang dal only committed 1 murder then turned himself in halfway through being investigated, so he felt guilt for what he did and wouldn't order to kill someone else. Song do shin has never committed a murder and confessed at his 2nd interrogation. But, hwang min shik. He killed many many people, clearly showing no signs of remorse and would have no problem killing the person who ruined his life, plus he's young so must feel like life in prison is unfair, plus death row at such a young age must be a lot to take in. Even his sentence was different, the other 2 got 10 years, he got life, plus he was arrested at the scene and was given a sentence 2 days later without a trial. He never confessed, instead pleaded not guilty for days on end. It must be him."
"Wow, you're a better detective than me"
They began researching and found some intel on the casinos and numbers of some of his gang members. They got a phone out and dialed the number, but they didn't call yet.
"You know this is reckless, right?"
Fei hung nodded
"And you know it's dangerous, right?"
Fei hung nodded
"Are you sure you're prepared?"
Fei hung nodded.
The phone rung. And rung. And rung. The suspense was killing them.
"Hello? Who is it?"
"Hi, my name is kang fei hung, I'm one of the prostitutes from your dobong-dong* casino, I haven't been paid and I want my money"
"You trying to fool me, jackass?"
"No! I never got paid for my body! I'm not selling this shit for free!"
"For fuck's sake woman! Fine come to the dobong dong base tomorrow and I'll give you your cash"
"Gimme the address and I'll go there right now."
"God, woman. Fine"
He gave them the address and the two teenagers looked at each other.
"I guess we're going to dobong-dong"
Fei hung nodded
"Can you drive?"
She smiled

Zooming away on a yama tracer (a motorbike) they went to dobong-dong. Moo young had put on a black suit and sunglasses and fei hung put on a short red dress, tucked her hair up nicely, put on fishnet tights and high heels. They arrived at the address.
"Wipe your sweat, moo young, you're not supposed to be scared"
"Right, sorry"
Fei hung looked at him and took out a small handkerchief she had in her purse and leaned over to him. She wiped his forehead and cheeks while holding his side for balance, he was so tall she had to go on her tippy toes. Moo Young's heart raced while he looked into fei hung's big brown eyes. Fei hung smiled
"Let's go"
They walked in and fei hung adopted a sassy walk. They strode in and fei hung slammed her hand down on the desk
"Who are you?"
Asked the thug
"Kang fei hung, I want my money"
The thug pointed them to another thug
"Actually, um, sir... there's something else you could give us..."
The thug raised one eyebrow
"We heard you have a detective held here, a treasured one at that. We want him, he's good for blackmail"
"What's his name? I don't know if we will have him here..."
"Detective Kim"
The thug stood up and took them to a hall of cages holding other thugs, detectives, civilians and wild dogs for dogfighting. They were taken to a cage at the end, in there was a bloody, beaten black and blue detective Kim.
"DAD!"
Yelled moo young and he raced forward to the bars. Fei hung stood there in shock. The thugs took action immediately and pulled moo young back by his arms and held him. The biggest thug turned to fei hung and said
"Did you know? Are you with him?"
Fei hung looked at the thug, then moo young. Moo young shook his head slightly to tell her to say no
"N-... no... I didn't know."
