Tj's POV

We just finished laser tag and honestly I had a blast! It's pretty late, so I think we'll go home soon

"Hey, it's getting kinda late, call it a day?" I ask, walking over to where ash and Cyrus are. Cole went to the bathroom.

"Party pooper! I'm almost at the high score, give me like 5 minutes," Cyrus says whining. He's so cute. I wonder if he knows that. Just by standing there he makes my heart flutter. His big brown eyes, his lovely smile, his amazing lips and-

" Tj! Earth to Tj. Are you ok?" He asks, a small smile erupting from his lips.

"y-yeah, I'm good. Are you ready?" I say. Damn it Tj! he probably knew you were staring.

"Where's Cole?" I ask.

"Right here! Let's go," Cole says, grabbing on to ash's arm.

We all walk to the door about to part ways.

"Hey, give us a call if you need us. We will be cheering on for you guys," says the red head.

"Thanks, and good luck to you guys too!" Cyrus says grabbing the paper they gave us with their numbers on it.

The other couple walked away, waving and smiling. We smile back and make our way home, hands intertwined.

We finally reach Cyrus's home and we walk up to the porch.

" I had a really fun time tonight," Cyrus says, smiling wide.

"Yeah me too." Cyrus walks up to the door and i start to feel a little sad that I have to leave.

So instead, I walk up to him

" Cy, wait," I say, our faces inches apart.

" I love you," I kiss him passionately, not giving him time to respond. He seemed surprised, but eventually kissed back. Cyrus wrapped his arms around me, deepening the kiss. He finally pulls away.

" I love you too," he whispers quietly. He walks up to his door and opens it, slowly going inside. He gives me one last smile, then closes the door behind him. I slowly make my way back to my home, reminiscing over the whole day. I look at my new ring and smile.

I get to my house and walk in with a smile plastered across my face.

"Why are you all happy mister?" My mom says letting a small chuckle escape her lips.

"No reason. Just the fact that Cyrus gave me a promise ring," I say smiling and walk past her, about to go upstairs.

"He just now gave it to you?" I was confused by her reaction.

"Yeah..? Wait, did you know?" I ask, confused as to what's going on

"Of course I knew. Cyrus came over a couple days ago asking if it was ok. I thought he was gonna give it to you the second I said yes." I smiled at her reply

"He did? Wow," I say, shocked, but still smiling.

"Yeah. I tell you that boy is a keeper. You better give me some grandkids," She winked. I think I just died.

"Mom!" I whine. She laughs as I go up the stairs to my room.

At least she's ok with my relationship.
