That kiss felt like magic. It was something I have never felt before. When I saw here that first day, there was something about her that I just loved. I knew that I could potentially love her, didn't know that it would happen that fast.. It did. I fell fast, but I knew I had to hurry up and make a move.

"How was Tuscaloosa?" I asked

"Tuscaloosa was great honestly. I loved it there. Going to the Bama games were fun especially since my dad used to play way before I was born but my older sister used to tell me so many stories about how she'd go to watch him play when she was three and four. He'd always tell me stories.." She smiled... God, she has the most beautiful one too, and her southern drawl made the butterflies in my stomach go wild.

"I used to watch clips of your dad when I was little even though I wasn't born yet but my dad played the same years as yours did... He was my favorite player." She let out this soft long drawn out chuckle that was so pretty to hear, she was so happy.

"We never came down to this burger place. Whenever we would come visit. We just went to the same two restaurants.." This Burger joint was on the outskirts of town close to where the field is and it's the one place where literally all the high school kids go, the ones who have a ride.

"You're gonna love it." I opened the door for her and led her inside the place. Baylor was already sitting with Lucie, his girlfriend. Jude, Josie, Davis Luke, and Caroline were all sitting around them waiting on us. Shit, I was about to get hit with it I knew it. Oh well I don't care

When I walked in I noticed that she stopped in front of a table surrounded by older people that must've known her, Mom Dad.. Mr. West and Ms. Maggie with Mr. Lawton and his wife were there

"Hey Mr. Gunner.." I said shaking his hand.

"Easton hey son.. Have you been introduced to these nice people yet?" I shook my head no but as I did a man way bigger than me stood up. I assume her dad.

"Dad please don't. Mom, Aunt Maggie, Uncle West? Can you please stop him. Dad sit your butt back down please." He just laughed.. I would be the same way with my daughter though so I don't blame him.

"Easton, Hello can we speak outside? It will be quick." I nodded my head, as I began walking outside.

"I'm Brady Higgens. Jolie's dad..

"Hello, Mr. Higgens... Nice to meet you I have heard so many great things about you."
"I was just like you back in High School. I wanted every single girl and I could have them. Trust me. You probably think you're not good enough for my daughter. You are definitely not. I like you though, you seem like a really nice boy. She seems very happy and really Easton, that's all that matters. If you break her heart or do anything that could potentially break it.. I could very well have you benched for football, or better yet have you running all practice." He paused and my face was shocked. "My daughter doesn't know this yet but I'm the new head football coach and Us History, teacher. So you'll be speaking to me not long from now. Now go on treat my daughter right.." I nodded my head before shaking his hand one more time.

"Thank you, Mr. Higgens. I will see you around.." He nodded his head back at me and I walked back inside the restaurant. She was already in line getting food so I joined right in.

"Did he ask you a whole bunch of questions?" I chuckled nodding my head,

"He does that all the damn time I'm so tired of it."

"As much as I love how cute you are when you're mad I hate that you are... So calm down it's alright... It was gonna come eventually."
She dug into her purse grabbing a ten dollar bill but before she handed it to the Cashier I pushed her hand away before digging into my wallet to pay for it.
