I wake up and want to go back to be straight away I got hardly any sleep, Cameron kept kicking and fidgeting all night and when I would reach over to him he would fight me even though he was in deep sleep.
"Good morning" Cameron mumbles sliding next to me spooning me from behind.
He smells like a distinct strong sent that I can't identify. "How was yesterday?" I ask.
"Boring, yours?" his voice is muffled against my shoulder.
"Same" I shrug.
"I got a killer headache" he complains as I get out of bed.
"Maybe it was your big night.." I whisper as walk in the bathroom.
"Melissa don't start" Cameron warns.
"Where were you last night then?" I ask him returning back to his room. I'm not scared of him.
"I told you that I was taking care of business."
"What ever Cameron I'm not arguing over this, I'm just frustrated that you didn't reply back to my calls or messages and you promised you would be back early." I inform him his nude body making it tough for me to concentrate on the task at hand.
"Well Melissa" he snaps, "my job consists of me working flexible hours and takes me away from a lot of things, so sorry if I can't get to my phone while I'm discussing things with high up people."
"I said I'm not going to argue with you over this! I need to go I'll see you later."
I get dressed quickly as his eyes burn holes into mine and leave grabbing my books.
"Would you like an apology?" He calls out.
"You don't say sorry when it actually means something."
The walk to college was cold my nose feeling as if it was going to snap off but I shouldered through it. I really must invest in a new car.
I find myself sitting in literature with the auditorium filling in quickly and Jack sits behind me.
Should I shouldn't I..?
"Hey" I smile as I turn around.
"Hi." He waves, this is awkward.
"Where were you yesterday?" I ask him.
"I had to take care of something's" he tells me.
"Class please face the front and settle down." The professor tells us and I reluctantly follow his orders.
Jack ignores me for the rest of the lesson and I take as much notes as I can I can't handle the pressure of restarting everything again. I try to find him again at lunch but he isn't any where to he seen and even though I should take it as a sign to stay away I just cant'.
As I make my way out of the gates the familiar black SUV is parked in a illegal position and Smith stands in front of it. Smith points in the car and I get in.
"Cameron didn't want you out in this weather." He tells me after a while and I nod in his reflection mirror.
So it takes a while for common sense to be knocked into Cameron.
As I open the door to the apartment Cameron is seated on the couch with binders and paper spread all over the place. He looks up and a look of relief floods his face.
"You came back." He speaks and I can't make out his tone.
"Where else would I go?" I tell him dropping my bag to the floor as I sit opposite him on the couch.
