Cameron
As I sit across from where Harrison is playing I see a little sand throwing match happening. I groan annoyed that I have to get out and put this girl in order before my brother runs of in tears.
As I approach them a girl bends over and seems to be talking to the kids, Harrison looks at her oddly and scrunches up his nose as to to he doesn't approve.
"Amanda let's go play with something else." The woman tells says to the girl trying to pick her up but she refuses trying to attack Harrison.
"Harry is there a problem here?" I ask him standing behind the woman.
She turns around straight away to yell at me but once her eyes lay on mine my heart begins to beat a little faster and my mouth becomes dry.
I try so hard to just say something simple but I can't, after 3 years of forgetting about her existence I lay one glance at her and I feel as if my whole world has been relighted.
She grabs onto the small girl and begins to walk away from me to fat that she looks as if she is going to fall over here feet.
I still stand in my place shocked, I have no idea what to do or think, this is why I've given up on feeling emotions for anyone.
"What are you looking at? " Harrison questions as he tugs down on the bottom of my shirt.
"Nothing, we're leaving now?" I tell him and he follows me as I walk away.
I can't help but to think about her again, she looks much older than I remember and paler, I wonder what has happened to her in these past years and if that could possibly be her daughter..
"Who was that girl you were playing with?" I ask Harry as he tries to keep up with my fast paced walking.
"I don't know but she was really mean" he frowns crossing his arms over his chest.
"Was that lady her m-mom?" I ask stumbling with my words.
"I don't know they look alike" he shrugs and I stop walking.
"What do you mean?"
"They have the same colour hair" he tells me as he struggles to look up at me.
"Doesn't make them related!" I stress to him and he throws up his shoulders.
"I've seen that girl around, I think she is friends with Mia" he tells me and I want to shake the information out of the kid.
"Then why didn't you say something when you saw her!" I can't help but raise my voice but he remains calm probably used to me behaving like this.
"She usually comes with man, he always tries to squeeze my checks but I run away!" He tells me.
"A man?" I ask him confused.
"He always tries to kiss her it's yucky!" He scrunches up his nose and shakes his head.
Melissa has a boyfriend!
"I need to head to my office really quickly!" I say to him as I walk towards my building.
"Cameron mom said you weren't going to take me there and that we would have fun! " he stomps his foot on the ground and folds his arms as he follows me still.
"Maddy will be there..." I test him and he looks at me, "I think you both would love to play with the new toys I got you that are under my desk."
"Okay but you have to get me McDonalds with coke because mom never let's me get that" he whispers like someone will hear him.
