The end of Summer Break

Moon Syroan had already decided he despised the beach as his best friend cheered at the sight of sand and bikinis. The beach of Cascade lay along the western coast with pearl white sand and ocean as far as the eyes could see.  It had become a popular tourist hot spot with its blue waters and reefs. The pair had just arrived and Tomosaki Keto couldn't stop staring at every beautiful woman in a swimsuit that walked by them.  Moon smirked at him causing his long face to resemble a duck for a moment while looking around himself. It was the end of summer trip for the college friends after surviving their first semester.  So he had promised to come along for even though Moon hated not being asleep in his bed, he wanted to make his friend happy. Dressed in a black t shirt that fit his lean long chest and muscular arms like a glove and black shorts, he wondered if he looked odd. Around him everyone wore either next to nothing or bright colors that dwarfed their tan bodies. Looking down at himself he decided he didn't care what others thought.

"Do you think we'll find a pair of honeys here?!" Tomo asked him excitedly as Moon googled their hotel. Tomo was the impulsive of the pair while Moon always planned his actions.  So while Tomo ogled he was planning.  The shuttle bus had dropped them off at the Seventh Heaven end of the beach as it was the intersecting stretch of land for four hotels in a few miles radius. Moon had hoped that the stop would draw Tomo's mind away from the past week.  So as his friend twisted this way and that to look at the beautiful women and palm trees and surfers, Moon quietly took pride in his plan.   Tomo looked at him with as much hope as a dog for a walk, he bit back the snarky reply that came instantly.  Tomo had always wanted him to find a girlfriend so they could double date and Moon never understood why.

"Maybe, hey our hotel is two miles that way. I'm gonna call a cab for us. Ok?" Moon responded in a slow patient voice. He had not wanted to come but knew that Tomo was still coming off heartbreak and wanted to be sensitive to that. So Moon had promised himself to treat his friend like a King and keep all mean comments back in Avalon where they came from. Tomo nodded and walked after a tall dark skinned young woman in a hot pink string bikini that barely covered anything. The bright pink bikini contrasted perfectly with the ebony skin drawing attention from everyone.

Standing at five foot seven with pale vanilla skin. His face long and handsome with sharp almond shaped eyes.  Moon knew that people regarded him as attractive but his face seemed set in a frown by default. Nothing really made him smile, and thus his default was resting bitch face. Tomo meanwhile is a mix of races and came out with a golden skin and large brown eyes. Handsome and muscular he had no problem attracting attention. While Moon is intense and sensitive, Tomo is playful and always smiled or that's how it was before Stella had slept with two men at once in their dorm room. It bothered Moon, not that someone had had sex in their home. But that she had been so in love with Tomo and had done that too him. It just reaffirmed his belief that love was not real, just a lie people tell themselves to allow things logic wouldn't to occur.

"Miss! Are you tired?" Tomo asked after he had caught up to the African goddess. The woman with a voluptuous chest that Tomo was fighting the urge to stare at regraded him curiously.

"Why would I be tired?" She asked meeting his eyes with her own green eyes.

"Well you've been running through my heart since I saw you," Tomo said with a grin that was all teeth, her backhanded slap wiped the smile off his face seconds later.

"Owwwww!!!!  hey hey," Tomo shouted and the woman stomped off cursing him to impotence for the rest of his life.

Moon ended the call with the cab service as Tomo stomped over to him.  Moon took one look at his face and saw the pink hand print on his right side and stifled a laugh by pretending to cough frantically. He slip his IPhone into his pocket and puffed his cheeks and patted his right.   Tomo glared in response.
