Holland was nervous, he didn't even sleep last night. He met Paz and the fact she still hadn't texted him about getting breakfast was worrying him. He looked at his phone for the tenth time. His brother came around the corner. "What the hell are you doing up this early?" He asked Holland as he rubbed his eyes groggily.

"Nothing." He mumbled as a response, and checked his phone.

"Holland's got a girl!" Ken screamed, suddenly awake. "How cute."

"First of all, she's not my girl. Second of all, I am just waiting for her to text me and tell me when to pick her up."

"This is like the greatest thing that's ever happened. Did you finally give Nina a chance?" He picked the box of cereal up and flipped onto the couch.

Holland rolled his eyes. "No." Ken looked slightly disappointed.

"Then who?" He asked as he pushed Holland slightly.

"Her name is Paz, she's not from around here." He checked his phone again.

He didn't recognize the number, but he knew who the message was from.

I didn't know when you ate breakfast, sorry I slept in late.

He smiled despite the fact what she said wasn't really much at all.

Holland: Pick you up in 5?

Paz: Sure. Don't be too loud, Lyndsy is still sleeping.

Paz was nervous although she would never admit it. She checked her waist length curls and took a deep breath. A nervous knock erupted from down the stairs. She had left Lyndsy a note telling her that she'd call her later. She took a last look and grabbed her bag descending down the stairs. Luckily Lyndsy's parents had been working and hasn't came back.

She opened the door and smiled at the boy who wasn't wearing sunglasses this time. She didn't know how to greet him, because she wanted to kiss him but she had only met him last night.

Holland looked at Paz up close for the first time since 5 hours ago when he dropped her off at her friends. "Hey." He spoke. Her eyes brightened at the sound of his voice and she wrapped her small arms around his torso.

"Thanks for dropping me off yesterday." He laughed and wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"You have all day to make it up to me." She climbed into the same ugly mini van she had sat in the back of all night and flicked a card back and forth with a boy she had just met.

"These will be the best pancakes you have ever had." He said as he turned the corner and they were sitting in the pancake emporium's parking lot.

"What is it like?" He asked her as he sat down and looked over the menu.

"What is what like?" She asked confused.

"Traveling all the time. Isn't it fun?" She shook her head before he finished.

"Never settling down and always being the new kid isn't fun." She assured him as the waitress came by.

She eyed Holland up and down and he seemed unaffected. Paz however was uncomfortable with the fact 'Becky' thought she had the right to look at him like that.

"Hey, Holland." Becky said suggestively. He rolled his eyes.

He looked over at Paz and smiled as she worded 'I don't know what to get'.
