Chapter Four

Travis's P.O.V:

I never understood why allie acted the way she did towards Jared, but I never paid attention to it. In fact I remember she wasn't like this when she met Jared, they got along perfectly. So something must of happened between them, or maybe its just because he never kept contact with her when we all separated, but she should be understanding about that. "Yo Trav!" I snap out of my thoughts. "Huh?" I said back. "You good man? You look a little lost over there." He said jokingly. "Nah, I'm good, but I am about to step outside really quick, I need to go get something out of my car." I say back. "Aight, cool."he says. I walk outside to my car to grab my phone and make a quick call, and before I could finish dialing, I felt an arm wrap around m th neck and the tip of a knife touch my skin. "Allie...what the hell is your problem?" I say struggling to breathe. "How you know it was me?" She says in an evil tone. "Because I could smell your coco butter from the trees." I spat still struggling for air. Allie let's me go and smiles, "I've gotten better travis." Smiling. "Yeah WAY better than last time" I chuckle. "Soooo, what is this the demon?" She says getting all excited. "Yes, yes it is. A 2018 dodge challenger SRT Demon wi-", she cuts me off in the middle of my description. "With a damn 6.2L engine, huh?" Speaking in a chill tone.  "Let me race you!" She "Hell no". I shot back. Allie begged me so much she gave me the puppy dog eyes. She was so adorable and I couldn't bare telling her no. "Tell you what allie, I'll shift and you drive" throwing her the keys. "Nah, I wanna show you how bad ass I've became" tossing them back." I shake my head and say ok, as allie walks to Isaiah's truck, and cranks it up. (dang, this girl has became hot. That attitude is still the same though.)

"Yo! We racing or are you going to stand there and slobber!"

I then snap out of it, grab her clothes and start up the car. We get to the end of the drive way, and I rev my car a little bit. At this point I'm pretty sure Jared and her brother heard my car. "We"ll start here and race to the lake." Allie gets in position and I pull up beside her. "Look you don't have to do this, Allie." I say smiling. "Man, shut up and drive." She crouches down. "Three, two, one." Allie speeds off, with my car not to far behind. "Man this girl is fast, but wait there's more." So I switch gears and catch up and fly pass her. Closing this race, Allie catches up to me and we're neck and neck. Putting her all into her running, I still ended up beating her by the hair of a an eyebrow. Getting out of the car, I open the passenger door and turn around so I could let her shift back and get dressed. "You know, that was a pretty close race." I chuckle. "Wasn't it though?" We sat there for a minute looking at the lake. "I'm pretty sure they're looking for us or something, we should head back." She said. So we get in my car and head back

"So, were have you two been?" We hear Isaiah. walking up to the porch "I raced Travis's car." Allie says smiling. looking in confusion. "You did what!?" She walks pass him and I stop. "I'll explain at dinner" Travis walks in and Isaiah follows him.

"It better not have been in my truck!"

Were all at dinner laughing and having a good time and suddenly it gets quiet. "So, about this race that we missed." I look at Allie and smile. "Travis has a SRT Demon outside and I told him to let me race, he wasnt for it at first but, he let me eventually." Allie smirks. "so where'd ya'll race to" Jared looks straight at Allie and his eyes not letting up from her. "The Lake Jared, a place where you're afraid to go with women because they may swim from you..." Allie spats with attitude. Everyone pauses and looks at Allie in total shock like they saw their worst fear in three seconds. "Allie are you alright?" Mrs. Firestone says in confusion. I nudge her super hard so she could apologize. "I'm sorry Mr. and Mrs. Firestone." "It's alright dear." Luna smiles
After dinner was over Isaiah and I decided to help with the dishes, while Allie went to go upstairs and Jared went to the study room.

Allie's P.O.V:

Dammit I cant believe I said that at the fucking dinner table. Pacing back and forth in my bedroom *knocking on my door*  I instantly calm down and said come in. Mrs. Firestone walks in, "hey sweety, are you ok?" Looking concerned. I start to panic, "Mrs. Firestone, I didnt mean to say what I said a the dinner table! I promise!" Luna hugs me "dear dear, it's fine" she chuckles. "I just came to make sure you were ok, cool?" I nod my head and she hugs me again and as she leaves Travis walks in and give me an upsetting look and closed the door. "Really Allie, was that necessary?" I shook my head in disgust. "I didn't mean to Travis." He sits down on the fluffy couch at the foot of my bed. "Why do you dislike Jared so much? I mean you both were like that when we all hung out, but damn I didn't think it was that bad." I look at Travis and threw a pillow at him. "It's nothing dont ask me again." Travis gets up and walks behind me and as I'm playing in my makeup Travis turns me around and kisses me. Not just any type of kiss, this was a kiss of pregnancy and marriage and I damn sure wasnt for it. But I couldn't stop. His lips felt as soft as flower petals and as sweet as sugar Soon enough I found myself sitting on top of the desk in my bedroom begging for more. Travis started pulling away from me and our eyes connected. "I've wanted to do this for the longest Allie, I'm in love with you. I've wanted to tell you before we broke off but, I was too nervous so I watched you walk away from me." This was not what the hell I wanted!!! I didn't want to be in a situation like this. And I never in a million fucking years thought I would be dealing with this type of shit. Travis's phone rings and he walks out. "Damn...did I feel a spark? Oh please, no Jesus, I'm not trying to find a soulmate right now!"
