Chapter Nine

I walked down the long hallway past Jared's room and downstairs I went. "I'm going to be so annoyed by the end of this....I can feel it." I continued downstairs to meet my brother and the rest of the crew to hang out.

"Damn someone isn't happy." Travis spoke. I laughed and gave him my wonderful middle finger. I look at kiara and she gives me a look of concern. My brother.... I felt his eyes never leaving the back of my head. I whisper to kiara, "you told him!?" She widens her eyes and me and whispers back, "no! That's your job, not mine! If anything you need to tell him before he finds out!" Jared finally comes downstairs and walks over to travis and Isaiah. As I watch them begin to converse my stomach begins to take a nervous turn of events. "Or someone may spill the beans." My heart suddenly stopped as soon as kiara said that and Jared looked at me with an suspicious smirk. I snapped out of my nervous trans, brushed it off and followed kiara outside.

"What's with the nervous action, al? It isn't like you to be nervous." Jared chuckled at me.

"You know if you keep this up your bound to never have another girlfriend even again. Besides, I'm not nervous I'm thinking...Something you don't do."

"You must want me al?" Jared raises an eyebrow and smirks.

"No, sir. I don't eat swine very well." I smile

Kay and Isaiah look at me in shock.

"Al, what the hell is wrong with you?" My brother questions.

Jared's dad came down stairs and requested to speak to him and I in his office. I curse under my breath then me and jared head upstairs.

My eyes linger around the office. This is a pretty big office, it was all black with an olive green accent. His desk was just about as big as a dinner table. "Sir, I can ex-" Jaxson put his hand up to silence me and I put my head down. "Do you know why I called you two in here?" I shook my head and stayed silent. "You can't control your anger Allison, you and Jared have been at it since you've gotten here and I've even heard you two physically fighting." I felt his eyes never leave my head. I've never felt so much guilt and stupidity in my life. "Mr. Firestone he came at me with the-" he puts his hand up again. "Jaxon. Just call me jaxson, and I know what they did, I just wanted to see how far you make it and to see if you you were smart enough to figure out what they were doing." He continued to go on and on. Each sentence made me feel more like shit, due to my blind actions. All of a sudden a question came about that made my heart jump so hard, I'm pretty sure they both heard it. "The way you two have been acting lately, isn't normal, why is that?" The room grew silent until Jared spoke. "I'm helping Allison on her school projects and she's really frustrated due to the fact that she's not at school for her project dad." Jared's father saw right through the lie and looked at me. I went straight for the next lie available. "Me and Jared secretly dated and it didn't work out because he cheated on me.....twice, and now I hate him for it." I look up and looked at Jared. Jaxson looked at the both of us in disappointment. I couldn't tell if he bought the lie or if he played along. But he shook his head and chuckled. "You guys need to sort that out before someone gets hurt like today."

We both nodded and he dismissed us. I walked upstairs and went to my room to take a shower, but a knock approached my door.

"Come in." It was Jared.

He gave me a look a look of relief. "Man, you really are smart." I look at him confused.

"Excuse me?" Jared laughed and looked at me. "Nothing, thanks for the save princess." He walks up to me and gives me a passionate kiss and stares deeply into my eyes.

"I can't tell if this man is really serious or not."

"Come in to my room later, I want to talk to you about something," Jared smiled and left my room.
