You sat down in the classroom, another part of your studio, where extra theory classes and tests took place. Today, you were supervising a standard theory testing of level seven theory students. While students were fiddling with their pencils answering the questions, you were grading some of the theory-homework assignments. You finished grading the last packet and looked at how much time was left.
Less than a minute.
You waited for the alarm to ring, and once it did, you chanted out, "Pencils down!". The students did as told. You took their tests one by one, announced that you would have their results on the door tomorrow afternoon at 3 PM. You escorted the students out to the waiting room where their parents were waiting to pick them up.
In that crowd of proud, tired, and bored parents, you waved goodbye to as many students as you could before heading to your office. Starting to grade the tests one by one, you were working your butt off to get all these seventy tests graded in less than twenty-four hours as the time was 6 o'clock in the evening.
Hoseok was busy with his new job, and you were getting busy as well. Both of you talked over the phone a lot with each other, sometimes had dates on Wednesdays, and met up with each other over the weekend. You both respected your careers and prioritized them.
You didn't realize you were biting the top of the pen cap. You sighed. You skipped lunch earlier today due to planning the testing, so you were starving. You kneeled down to the mini-fridge to bring out what was supposed to be your lunch. Taking the sandwich out of the fridge you also grabbed some popcorn. You took a small break to eat dinner, and once done, you washed your hands and immediately immersed yourself back to work.
Somehow you had managed to grade all those papers, and you were tired. You went out to the piano room to grab all the rest of your stuff. You gathered it all and were organizing it all. The time was 11:30, which was early than other exam days. You were ready to go so you went outside, locked the door, went into your car, dropped all your stuff inside, and turned on the alarm through your phone. You drove back home.
To be honest, you missed life. You missed Hoseok, his interesting friends, and your stupid friends. You were back to your life with a job centered as your top priority, and not your life. You wanted to keep your promise to your sister, but it was hard, especially with your role at the top. You kept thinking these thoughts, as you pulled up to your driveway.
You were stepping to your front door, ready to unlock it, when you noticed the bouquet of hydrangeas on the floor. Your eyes sparkled at the scene, and read the small message on the side.
"Thought you should have some flowers. I love you."
You smiled at the message Hoseok left you. You scooped up the flowers, feeling cherished and loved at the fact that he sent you flowers, just cause he wanted to. He was a gentleman and it broke your heart that you couldn't spend a lot of time with him due to both of your jobs.
You unlocked your front door, stepped inside to your comfortable home, closed the door securing yourself from the outside world, and locked it. You took off your somewhat comfortable heels and went upstairs to change into something more comfortable than your tight skirt and shirt that makes you look professional.
You looked at the date. It's been a month since Minnie's birthday party and that means you've been dating Hoseok for a while. It made you have a bubbly feeling inside knowing that there was someone in your life you could love.
You headed back downstairs and strode into the kitchen. You opened the refrigerator to find the remains of a pasta salad you made yesterday. You pulled it out of the fridge transferring it from a plastic container to a bowl. You took it to the couch, digging into it with a fork. You switched the TV on, resuming Pretty Little Liars, Season 6, Episode 10. You were so into it, you almost missed your buzzing phone.
