"Please please Marc, I really want my dress made by V. Come on you can afford it." Darla said.

"Damn D. I just bought you a bunch of clothes and now you want me to buy you some more shit?" I said taking a break from hitting the bag.

"I know but I got straight A's and I don't get into trouble, I am the perfect angel." She said with a sneaky smile.

I looked at her and smiled. I loved my baby sister. Ever since our parents were killed two years ago, I have stepped-up to take care of her. She was my life and my world, and I would do anything for her.

I took a deep breath because I was trying not to give in so fast.

"Come in Marc. I promise I won't ask for anything else again." She lied.

"Whatever! How many times do I hear this same thing? I promise I would never ask for another thing again Marc." I laughed mocking her.

She rolled her eyes, crossed her arms and I shook my head because I knew I was going to give in. When she noticed me shaking my head, smiling she started jumping up and down.

"Thank you, Marc. Thank you so much." She ran over to me hugging me and kissing my face.

"Eww you stink man." She pushed me.

"Well why are you over here bothering me?" I chased her laughing.

"Move stop Marc." She said running up the stairs. When she slammed the door, I went back to my workout.

"Marc, Moe is here." I heard Darla screaming.

After my workout I decided to take a hot shower. I put on some joggers a shirt, some socks and my slides and walked down stairs to where my cousin was.

"What's up cousin?" I dapped Moe.

"Shit bro can't call it. What you and peanut doing?"

"She wants me to get her an outfit made by some chick named V or something. Of course, she gave me the look." I said laughing at how easy she can manipulate me.

Laughing he shrugged his shoulders, "Man she got me the other day about buying her some damn shoes. I swear she's just like Aunt Cindy."

I looked over at the picture of my mother and me at my high school graduation and I thought about Darla. He was right the older she gets the more like my mother she looks.

"I miss her too bro. She was the best. Did they ever find out what happened to her and Uncle Joe?" He asked.

I turned to face him, so Darla wouldn't hear.

"Man, they come with some bullshit like they were killed by a wild animal. But what I can't figure out is an animal that don't eat them but drain their blood. Come on man that some crazy shit." I started to get pissed just thinking about that bullshit.

"Maybe it was a vampire." He smirked.

"Nigga you watch too many damn movies." I walked off towards the kitchen.

"For real man. There was a woman in California that said she saw a man that had fangs and he was drinking blood. Now that's some real life."

I looked at him thinking he's officially lost his damn mind.

"Man don't look at me like that. I'm telling you Marc, there are for real vampires, werewolves and witches out there. They look like us but not."

I couldn't help but laugh at his ass. I held my stomach because he was really serious about this crazy stuff.

"Man, I swear you come up with the craziest shit. Remember when you said that Tanisha Maxie put a hex on you?" I started laughing again thinking about him crying.

"I mean you laughing but man I couldn't eat or sleep for months. My mama was going to put me in the crazy house when I told her."

I fell to my knees laughing. The tears were falling fast but I couldn't help it.

Finally getting myself together I was able to speak.

"Man, you said that girl put a hex on you, I just think that was your conscience telling you that you did her wrong."

"No, she put a hex on me man. I'm telling you that damn girl is a witch." She shivered like he was cold.

"If she did, she had the right to. Nigga you fucked her best friend on her parent's couch. You lucky she didn't kill you."

"No get the story right. I fucked her on the patio couch in the back yard." He said like it made it better.

"What are you laughing at Marc?" Darla walked into the room.

"Moe talking about vampire's and witches." I was really trying hard not to laugh.

"Oh, you mean the old lady in California?" She said.

"Yea, you saw the news?" He asked her.

"Umm I'm 17 not 40. But no, I saw the clips on Facebook. It made me never want to go to California I know that. They can keep their fangs to themselves. I love my blood."

I looked at these two fools and wondered how in the hell am I related to them.

"Don't look at us like this Marc. This is real, and they are out there." Darla said.

"Yea ok well I am going to let you two talk about your fangs and blood. I am going to make me a sandwich and bite into that." I walked away from them. I wasn't going to listen to this crap.

"You better listen to us man. You need to know how to deal with them if you see one." Moe said to me.

I fixed my sandwich and thought aboutthem. I think they lost their damnminds.#
