After what seemed like ages I was done from work Josh closed the store so it was just me, him and Ryan. He led us in the tattooing room and motioned for my shirt.
"Take it off." He said making me blush furiously.
"M-maybe I-I should do it some other time?" I asked smiling sheepishly as I rubbed the back of my head. He chuckled and just waited. I groaned and pulled my tank top off revealing my body at them. Ryan's eyebrows raised as Josh just pushed me back on the chair. It felt weird; I usually was the one with the tattoo machine and the others sitting on the chair but now it was the other way around. I closed my eyes as Josh, pulled down the straps of my bra to clean my chest slowly. I sighed and looked at Ryan for a second when my attention got back to Josh. He had placed my sketch beside me on another table and was mixing some shades of black.
"You're so pale.. How can this happen with all this sun here?" Ryan noticed making me laugh quietly.
"First I come from England so it's natural to be like that. Second I hate the sun so I'm trying to avoid it whenever I can. When I can't, I just wrap myself in clothes." I looked at him sheepishly when Josh took a pen and started drawing the wings and body for my crow, slowly on my chest. I closed my eyes again suddenly feeling all worried and anxious.
Would it come out good? Should I show it to mom or just hide it like I tried to hide from her that I was smoking and not only normal cigarettes...
"Because it's a big tattoo we're going to make only the outline today. We'll wait till this heals and then have another session to fill it with color. Okay?" He said looking at me as I nodded anxiously.
After half an hour he had drew the pattern with the pen and was opening a new needle ready to begin. I bit my lip and waited for him to press the pedal so the tattoo machine would start working.
When he did I knew that there was no going back now. He did so much for me when I needed him and now I couldn't just blow him off..
As the sound of the tattoo machine ringed in my ears I took a deep breath in and waited. And that's when the pain started.
"It hurts!" I groaned slightly as the needle kept stinging my skin.
"It's because you're too skinny. The needle gets in contact with your bones and hurts you more. Plus you decided a painful place." He smiled never breaking contact with my chest.
Oh well...

As walked back home, I felt my chest hurt in pain. He had only done the outline but it burned as hell and I was worried how much would the filling hurt. I got in home and sighed.
"Mooom?" I called, walking carefully upstairs. When I heard the shower I knew she was in there. I quickly walked to my room and peeled my zipper and tank top off. My chest was burning so I had to put some cream on it. I skipped to my room's bathroom, shuffling through the small first aid kit I had when I found a cream that was for sun burning. I opened it and put some on my tattoo, feeling the coolness of it. That's when everything got fucked up.
"Ariel are-" Cecilia stopped mid-sentenced when she saw me shirtless and a few lines on my chest.
"Is that a tattoo?" She said her eyes burning holes through my head. If looks could kill, I'd be dead a thousand times now.
"Yes." I said and walked over to my bedroom picking up a V-neck shirt so the cream wouldn't get messed up with any of my shirts, her on my heels.
"You're going to remove it." She said sternly, her nostrils almost burning.
