Heyaaaaa, second alternative ending where Ariel ends up with Ryan-boo ^-^

*Ariel Collins*

I couldn't stop remembering the face of a broken man I had rejected a summer ago. His blue eyes reflected his heart and I swear I could see it breaking into a thousand tiny little pieces. It was a hard thing to do. It was hard to choose between two men. Two completely different men. In age, appearance, personality and the feelings they brought out of me.

It took me quite some time to get over the incident at the airport. My vacation to Australia with Ollie, William and Ryan went pretty much to hell, at least for my part, though Ryan's parents were the sweetest creatures that treated all three of us as if we were their own children, making Ryan happy for some odd reason.

Later that year, after I got over my break up with Ian, Ryan and I went on a date. It was rather too fancy for a person with what he likes and all, but I had suddenly realized what I had been missing all this time. After a long time someone made me laugh, joke and have a nice time that I even started sketching again. And not one of the depressing ones I had been doing for almost two months.

And that's when I had decided that I made the right choice. My feelings for Ryan developed slowly, considering I was completely smothered by my teacher, never gave him any margins to point out his feelings, but now the man made everything seem possible.

It is currently summer.

We both have the whole summer break before our second year on college starts and have decided on going on vacation for a week.

"Come on baby let's go back to Australia. You didn't even get to see half the fun since last year you were grieving!" Ryan whined making me glare at him for his choice of words and punch him on his arm.

In response, he just jutted his lower lip out in a pout and rubbed his arm, staring at me with his puppy eyes.

Damn it.

"No. I wanna go somewhere else. Somewhere we can swim of course. With beautiful beaches and views. Somewhere we can club and drink, yet have some quiet time." I bit my lip in thought, before I decided to take a sip of my milkshake. Ryan licked his lips in concentration and slipped his free hand into mine. It instantly brought warmth into my body, making me forget all the bad things that had came uninvited into my thoughts again. Slowly he started drumming his fingers against my knuckles, soothing my nervous feelings.

"What about Greece? My parents went there a few years back during summer and they said they have some amazing islands that combine everything you said." Truth be told I have never considered Greece a place for vacation. I have heard that the politics and economy are completely crap there, but I have also known that there are a few islands there that were absolutely breathtaking and an eye candy to the human eye.

"Sure, but where?" I mumbled, and took a sip from my milkshake again. Ryan snapped his fingers and grabbed his bag, pulling out his laptop. He set it on the table and opened it, a picture he had once taken of me and him, eating from a cotton candy, our faces almost buried into it. It had been a fun night with Ollie, William, Ryan and I going to a festival nearby. We had bought things for each other, for ourselves and stuffed our stomachs with delicious food.

"Let's go to Kefalonia! Remember the movie with Nicholas Cage? Dang it, how was it called?"

"Captain Corelli's Mandolin?"

"Yes! So, wanna go there?" Ryan squeaked adorably and turned in his seat to look at me with a wide grin. Slowly, I rolled my bottom lip in my mouth and munched it in thought. From what I remember when I saw that movie, the island seemed beautiful. And certainly there would be many sights to see. Greeks had sights in every city, island or village you'd visit. "Alright, I'll trust you in this one. Let's go there." Ryan clapped his hands and cupped my cheeks, pressing his lips on mine with a loud smooch. A giggle left my lips as soon as he pushed back and Ryan smiled adorably, pecking me once more.
