*Ariel Collins*

I kept whining and groaning the whole ride towards the hospital, the pain rising at each bump the car would run over. Fortunately the torturous ride didn't take longer than ten minutes as there was a hospital close by. Ryan rushed me inside and signed some papers for me. Soon the doctor pushed me towards a room which I didn't really get to read the sign because he shoved me way to harsh for my liking. I didn't realize what was he doing until I saw the cast on my hand.

I broke my hand.

Sweet.

"Miss." he paused looking down at his papers and then turning his attention back to me and Ryan who just entered the room, "Collins. I'm afraid you'll have to keep that cast for three weeks at first and then you'll come for a check up again. You must be careful not to break it though. Have a nice day." He finished flatly and retreated.

"What an ass." Ryan murmured, standing next to the chair I was sitting. After he noticed my probably pathetic face he shook me out of my reverie and then whispered, "Everything okay?"

I turned to look at him, jutting my lip out. "How will I go to the concert in Friday?" I rubbed my head with my right hand, since the left one was practically useless right now and sighed.

Ryan chuckled softly and patted my head, "You just broke your left hand which happens to be the one you write with and the only thing you're worried about is how you'll go to see The Ghost Inside?"

I grumbled slapping his hand and stood up. "Well I am not losing that concert broken hand or not." I said determined and grabbed my bag. "Do we need to pay or something?" I asked, opening the door with my right hand and exiting. Ryan was soon next to me shrugging. "I guess if you have insurance or something like that, you won't have to pay. Probably Josh will take care about it." I shrugged as well and walked over to his car.

It was going to be really hard to do everything with the right hand, since I was a lefty but I guess I didn't have any other choice. I was doomed for probably a month. Sighing, I opened the door and plopped down on my seat, struggling to put my seatbelt on.

Well, we started just fine!

Ryan was quiet as his hand would occasionaly rest on my fingers that were free from the cast, holding them assuringly.

I stared out of the window, taking deep breaths as I mumbled, "I won't be able to work, go on school, take a shower on my own, anything! Stupid me and my excitement." That made Ryan chuckle softly and squeeze my thigh gently. I frowned as we reached Ollie's house, dreading the moment that I'd have to ask for help. "Thank you for today. I owe you." I said and kissed his cheek softly as he unbuckled my seatbelt. I smiled widely and opened the door, before he grabbed my upper arm, careful not to grab my cast. I twisted my head a little to look at him.

He had a wide smile and his eyes were shining slightly. "Don't be silly. You owe me nothing. You know how much you mean to me. Be careful okay? And call if you need something." He said, making my heart skip a beat. He was so kind! I nodded and walked over to the door, opening it after a few seconds. As soon as I stepped in I saw a pair of converses I didn't recognize. Ollie was probably home with someone. I didn't bother saying hello, I didn't want to ruin the moment for her. I knew she definitely wasn't having sex. She wasn't the type of person who'd sleep with every guy.

Unfortunately she fell in love once. She still loved the guy, still cared for him but she moved on. Though she never had a serious relationship in her life, she liked being free and meeting new people. That's how she worked and I didn't mind change that any time soon.

So I just walked over to my room, plopping down on the bed. I grabbed my books, two by two and sprawled them on the bed, along with my tired body. I still had to study and I wasn't going to stop my life just because of a broken hand. After what must have been two hours, I heard shuffling and a door close. I guess Ollie's buddy decided to leave. Or maybe she left with him. I shrugged and went back to studying.
