Chapter 13

Kassidy's PoV

We were all panicking we are in this weird world and we lost Chloe. So I decided to think out loud, ok well knowing Chloe she would not wander off so she had to get taken, I'm guessing. Emma chimed in and said we should look at her house because if she wandered off she would go there, because in certain situations she can be adventurous, and intrigued. You're right. Let's go to her house I said.

*At Chloe's house*

We opened the door and started to call her name but she didn't answer. Emma and I ran upstairs and it her room but she wasn't there. We got nervous and called her but she didn't answer. We heard Liam scream her name but she didn't answer. We started looking for her everywhere, my house, Emma's house, Downtown Diner, the roller skating rink, even the mall and she wasn't there. We were sitting on a bench outside the school trying to think about where we were going to look next and then we heard a scream.

Liam's POV

The scream came from Chloe's house. I immediately got up and said I'm going to get her. Okay, be careful Emma told me.

When I got to her house I opened the door and started looking for her. I looked in the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. The last place I looked was her room. I looked in the closet when a knife came flying at me and stabbed me in the stomach. I fell backward and looked down. Since I was the only one in the house, I pulled it out and started to run. I ran the 10 minutes to get to the school and saw everyone. I was almost there when I saw Emma look at me and stand up to come to help me but I fell and I couldn't move. Then it was all black.

Chloe's POV

I stood there at the window as I watched Liam go somewhere. They must still be looking for me. It took him ten minutes to get back. As he was coming back there was something on his shirt. Emma stood up and she looked scared. She started to run to Liam and he collapsed. I looked closer and saw that it was blood. I watched in horror as he died. I wanted to scream so badly but I knew everyone else would die too. I walked away from the window and cried. When the man came in I asked why did you kill Liam? I didn't disobey your rules. I didn't scream or try to contact my friends in any way or run away. He told me Liam died because he was my boyfriend and I loved him.
