Rhett and link one shots

I'm so sorry that haven't posted in like a year but yolo I'm here now. I found this in my notes and was like 'wtf is this' so I decided to put it here. It is about Rhett and Link. FYI I did not edit it from my notes so I apologize if it has mistakes.

There's a land where three giant purple Cogs (ToonTown villains) own the land and control a little town. In it lives a young boy called Link Neal who doesn't understand. One night when everyone is terrified he decides to break out.

He breaks out of the mythical barrier between worlds and finds himself inside a normal estate. He doesn't know this though. The portal was a normal house, in a normal estate with normal people.

He gets chased away by these three purple creatures. He ends up lost. He finds like a cliff face and wonders what it is because he has never seen anything like it before. Link gets called out by an older boy named Rhett McLaughlin about why he's running away. He can't tell him.

The purple creatures chase the two boys and other kids off the edge. There's a rope off the edge that Rhett catches but Link does not. Rhett saves/catches him. Some kids catch the rope, some do not.

The purple creatures couldn't find them and ran off. They look down and realize they're over water. Link has never seen this and is scared, as the other world's water is yellow. They drop down (Link clutching onto Rhett) and swim toward a small boat where people are guiding children.

As they were sailing along, one of the purple creatures jumped up onto a boat, their boat. Link was terrified but Rhett held him close. The police tried to shoot at it but it crawled over and snatched Link up. It brought him close to his grimy face and sloppy mouth and growled at him.

It dragged him away back to the mythical portal to the other world. It threw him through the doorway of the house (the portal) and he landed on his face, back in the dark and gloomy world. They locked him up specially, so he would not and could not try to escape again. He couldn't do anything except play memories in his head. He remembers his family, he remembers the little boy who helped him. Rhett.

Years later, a couple moved into that exact house, threatening to break the barrier between worlds. Their child kept telling them about a glowing room in place of his bedroom but the parents would not listen.

One day when the boy was asleep, through the barrier came a Cog but he wasn't scared. He got past the and ran into the other world. He dodged the other two purple freaks and accidentally ran into the dungeon.

He found Link, a grown up man now, who was in chains that were connected to him at different places. One was cuffed around his throat, one around his waist, one around each ankle and each wrist. He was strictly bound and gagged.

Highlighted by the low lighting, tears silently trailed down his cheeks. He's been kept locked up since he was a little boy. He misses his family and even that little boy who saved him.

The little boy didn't know what to do. Link didn't notice him. He tiptoed behind the man and jumped up quickly, whipping the handkerchief out of his mouth. Link almost screamed but the boy reassured him that he wanted to help.

The boy rooted around and found a key and unlocked Link's waist chain, and all of the others just fell off. Link was gonna go back to the town and see his family, but then he realized that the Cogs patrol the town at night and would find him.

The boy dragged Link back to the portal when the Cogs left the barrier for the night patrol. The two males went through the portal and ended up in the boys bedroom. The boy snook Link out of his house and told him to find an alley to sleep in. He gave him a blanket, a pocketknife and a water bottle. (Link was still nervous of this world's water).

He walked quite a while and found an alleyway. He bedded down for the night. He curled up in his little blanket, silently crying. He froze up as he heard footsteps nearby. It turned out to be Rhett McLaughlin. The boy who saved him, was now a man. And a handsome one at that.

Link was shocked that Rhett remembered him. Rhett took him in and a few years later they got married. They had a house together and lived in a future-like time. They had a flying car and didn't really have to do anything except for their job, which was a daily talk show.
