"Explain this." Sherlock shoved the locket into Moriarty's hands. Alexis stood beside him, nervously chewing on her lip.

Jim sat up a bit in his hospital bed, looking almost as shocked as Alexis was. "It's.. That's Emily... But how-"

"I found it on the sidewalk when I left the café today." Alexis interrupted. "It was in a small black box."

Jim stared down at the locket for a long time, a look on his face that Alexis couldn't decipher. "I didn't think she would come back..." He whispered, still looking down.

"Back?" Alexis whispered. She stared at her father for a long time before clenching her fists. "Back?" Her voice started to raise and her cheeks grew hot. "You told me she was dead. You said she died and now.. And now she's coming back?!"

Sherlock placed his hand on her shoulder lightly and spoke in a soft voice. "Alexis, perhaps we should-"

"No." She shrugged Sherlock off, glaring back at him. "Sherlock, you 'died', and came back. I saw it on television. But I didn't know you then." She whips around to face her father, her knuckles turning white. "You 'died' and came back. You left me alone for two years." She took a shaky breath before continuing, trying her hardest not to let tears spill over. "You told me mother died. Ever since I was little, I... And now you tell me she's back? That she's alive?"

Jim reached his hand out to touch her's. "Alexis-"

"Don't touch me." She growled, taking a step back. "Why does everyone lie to me?! Why can't you just tell me the truth? I'm not a little girl anymore!!" She felt a tear run down her cheek and wiped it away angrily before turning and heading for the door. "Maybe I'll leave too," she stated, looking over her shoulder at the two men. "But I won't come back."
