Alexis felt her heart rate speed up. She gripped at the driver's seat, looking at the back of Sebastian's head. "Let me out." She growled. "I don't know what you're doing, but stop the car and let me out."

"I'm afraid I can't do that, Alexis." His voice was flat, but it wavered at the end.

Alexis looked at his hands on the steering wheel. He gripped it tight -- his knuckles turning white. "Who hired you?" She demanded. "It wasn't my father this time. Who is it?"

He cleared his throat, keeping his head straight ahead. "I'm not entitled to-"

"God damn it, Sebastian, tell me!" Alexis slammed her hands on the back of the driver's seat. She examined his face in the mirror and they locked eyes. After a few seconds, his expression changed and he looked away from her.

"Get out." He stated. "I can't slow down. You're going to have to jump."

That caught Alexis off guard. "Wait, wha-"

"Get. Out." Sebastian clenched his jaw before letting out a suppressed sob. "NOW. GO."

Alexis opened the door and leapt out, rolling onto the sidewalk. She winced as she landed hard on her shoulder and watched the cab roll away.

Suddenly, the car leapt into the air, bursting into flames. The explosion caused it to flip a few times before landing upside down.

Alexis' eyes were wide and she heard someone screaming. She laid there for what seemed like ages before someone grabbed her arm, pulling her up.

"Hey, hey, calm down. Oh my god." Greg held her close to his chest as he watched police cars roll up. "Alexis, shhhhh. We need to get you home."

It wasn't until Greg said something that she realized she was the one screaming. She couldn't hold back her sobs, and she couldn't look away from the wreckage. "Sebastian..." She struggled against Greg's grip, trying to sprint to the cab. "SEBASTIAN!"

Greg held a tight grip on her before eventually picking her up and slinging her over his shoulder. He quickly started down the street away from the accident. "I'm sorry, Alexis. I'm sorry. We have to go now."

Alexis kicked and continued to scream as she reached her hands out to the car. "Sebastian!" Her exhaustion soon got the best of her and she fell limp against Greg. She sobbed against his shoulder, her eyes never looking away from the cab until they turned the corner.
