The next morning I got up felt like I didn't get no sleep at all. I decided to stay in for the day and spend time with my father. I jogged down the stairs no sight of my dad. I ran back up stairs to check his room but he wasn't there. I guess he had work so I sat and watched Tom and Jerry eating cookies and cream ice cream. There was a knock at the door. "Who is it?" I yelled before I got up. no one said anything so I went to open the door. It was Carter standing there with his hands in his pockets. "You have some heart coming here." "So what y'all doing with my pops?" I asked trying to make conversation. "Oh nothing really just boy stuff fixing and building, I was just told they needed a extra hand." Julian replyed. "Oh cool." I said with no excitement. My phone started ringing. "Hello... no, what time. alright. Imma need to get ready, ok . bye." "Welp I've got plans tonight so excuse me while I go get ready." I said with a big smile. Julian laughed at me. "You not going out with that boy Carter huh?" Calvin said peeping out the kitchen."Uhmm, yes, yes I am." I said with a attiude. I walked up to my room and got ready. In my closet I pulled out a black fitted dress that came to my thigh and my back was out. I grabbed my royal blue heels. I hopped in the shower. I straighten my hair and did my make up.

As I was putting on my shoes I received a text from Carter saying he was outside. I grabbed my purse and keys. "Wow, you look so pretty." Julian said watching me come down the stairs. "Why thank you." I said "My lil sis is all grown up." Calvin said "Whatever boy." "Aye call me if anything go down." Calvin yelled before I walked out the door. "Alright!" I said before slamming the door closed.

"Man babe you look good." I said admiring her outfit."You don't look to bad yourself."She said flipping her hair. Even though I messed up I just happy to have her... walk around and be like Yeaa that's my girl.

We pulled up at they party and everyone was dressed up looking nice. Me and Region walked in and everybody looked at us ..well at least that's what it felt like. Region spotted Dorsette and Jordyan and we walked over to them. "what happen to y'all other day?" Jordyan asked "Long story." Region sighed answering Jordyan. "Well we at this party let's turn up!" Soul said grabbing Jordyan. They walked off to go dance. I looked at Region, she was ordering a drink. "Don't get drunk tonight." I said laughing. "Trust me I won't." she responded. I felt like I was a bad influence on her but I couldn't let her go. She was different and I love that about her. "Wanna dance?" She asked knocking me out my daydream. "We can." She pulled me to the dance floor next to Soul and Jordyan.

After all that dancing and buying drinks. Me and Soul stepped outside. He pulled out a blunt and lit it. "What happened bruh?" Dorsette asked while taking a hit. "What you talking bout?" I said playing lost. "Nigga.." he replied. "Alright, well the other day Region caught me fucking Ashely." I said while teaching for the blunt. "Humf, well if you gone be sneaking around you gotta do better..buuuut don't fuck over lil miss region she a good kid and you need a chick like that you hear me." I nodded my head as I hit the blunt, "Bruh, so I gotta drop all my hoes?" I asked.Dorsette looked at me stupidly "Duh nigga what you think this is.. wait is Region your girlfriend or a side bitch?" he said looking at me with suspense, "I don't even know, it's like I like her but I know I'm not ready for a real relationship."
