SUMMER TIME TURN UP

I woke up by the sun shining brightly in my room. "Ahh first day of summer." I slightly whispered to myself. As I got up out the bed my phone begins to ring, "Hello?"

"HEEEYYY BOOOO!" my bestfriend said "Ha wassup Jorydan." as I stretched "Look meet me at the food court in the mall cause tonight there's a big summer party and we're going." I laughed and agreed to go. As I got myself ready and dressed I thought about everything that can happen at this party but I shook my head and promised myself I was going to have fun tonight.

I walked downstairs to see my dad watching the news "two young men killed early this morning, still on the look for the killer if you know anything call crime stoppers for a cash reward." the reporter said I kissed my pops on the cheek and grabbed a piece of bacon. Before I could walk out the door my dad stopped me in my tracks, "you be safe young lady I don't need to lose my princess." I smiled and promised him I was going to be safe. As I hopped in my car to head to the mall Calvin was jogging by but he stopped in his tracks and walled over to me. "And where do you think you going this morning?" sounding like my dad. "Uhmm to the mall to meet up with Jorydan and do a little shopping for this party tonight." I said briefly. "Now, Region me or your pops don't like you to do these things especially with Jorydan." he said tying his shoe. Calvin was more of a big brother to me and my father loved him as he was his own. " I know I know, but today imma watch out for myself, I'm 17 and I think I can protect myself." I said looking at him with a big smile. "Well ok Region imma catch you later." as he started off to run again. I shook my head and got into my car .

"IT'S ABOUT TIME NIGGA!!" Jorydan said as I walked up to her. "No chill huh?" I asked while walking up to her. We hugged and started shopping.

As we was walking out of Forever 21 I was all up in my phone on twitter as always, I bumped this guy and he was sooo cute I mean FIIIINNNE. "Damn ma your face really glued to that phone." he said smiling. "I'm so sorry, just some interesting stu-" "look it's cool, I know something that you can do to make it up." he said while rubbing his hands. "And what is that." I said with a concerned face worrying about what he was talking about. "You can give me your number so I can text you." he said putting his hands in his pockets. "Ook." I said reaching out for his phone. He handed it me and as I started to put my number in his friend was rushing him. "iight imma call you later cause this nigga has no chill." he said as he started to walk off. "ok." I said while laughing. Sad to say I never got his name and when I looked back he was gone. "OOOOH BITCH YOU!" Jorydan said scaring me. "what?!" I said looking confused." Girl he is so cute and you are so lucky cause I heard once he get a girl he do his best to keep her but she always end up fucking up. But damn girl keep him." we started to walk out the mall and headed our different ways.
