"Okay, so you're telling me, there's ice cream being sold at the cafeteria?" you chuckle, seeing the student in front of you nod, blush spreading across his face.

"Yup, I can get you some if you want?" Simon used sign language, which was useful to you as you were deaf. You gasp and squeal, hugging him and squeezing him tight.

"You're the best!" you basically scream, pulling away and jumping up and down, he asks what flavour you want, and you gladly reply with (F/I/C/F). Simon nods and grabs your hand, leading you to the cafeteria.

But one thing caught your eye as you left.

A boy, glaring at Simon.

It was the next day, and you couldn't find Simon anywhere but boys crowded around you, showering you with compliments, appreciation and love using sign language, making you chuckle.

But something went amongst the crowd.
"Yo .. You do know Simon went missing right?"

"Hey, you know a student went missing?"

Student here, missing that, news spread around. It was an unusual occurrence, but you didn't hear anything, due to the lack of sign language.

You entered into the school, getting the books out of your locker, but something  caught your attention.

It looked like someone.

The same boy from yesterday, staring at you from afar.

You gave a little wave and a smile, but once you blinked, he disappeared in thin air.

The next day, one of the boys that were giving you compliments disappeared.

The police were called on the disappearance of Simon, so they filed a missing person case.

You became increasingly worried as one of your friends (in sign language) told you about the sudden disappearance.

"Apparently they're in love, the killer, I mean."

Your eyes widen.

Could it be?

That boy you saw, was he the killer?

And that's when your instincts told you to investigate.

It was now after school, and you decided to follow that boy to see what he was up to. Your friends said he was called Cardlin, so it became a bit more easier to find out who he is.

Cardlin suddenly makes a turn into an alley, where you can see a boy tied up and a dead body, which made horror plant onto your face as you gagged at the sight.

The boy tied up was the boy that was giving compliments to you repeatedly.

The dead one was Simon, you could tell.

But why would he hide them there? ..

You could see Cardlin pull out a knife as you see the boy turn to you, looking at you with terror in his sorrow - filled eyes.

You screamed out in fear for his life:

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Cardlin turns to you, his pupils are tiny, but suddenly enlarge when he sees you, he drops the knife as you stand there, tears welling up in your eyes.
