A Second Home and Some Pain

Cygnus' P.O.V

"I have to go now, dear," I told Druella," I should be back in a two weeks."

"...alright," she sighed.

"Bye," I forced myself to kiss the woman I didn't love and then turned to apparate to Cornwall.

"Cyg!" Suzana cried, wrapping her arms around my neck. Her gorgeous red hair obscured my vision in a flash.

"Hi, Zana," I sighed. She always made me feel elated and peaceful.

I leaned in and kissed her tenderly.

"Now, can I come into my soon-to-be home?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Naturally."

I entered the large hallway, onto the thick carpets. I glanced at the classy wallpaper and elegant light fixture. I breathed in the fresh sent of rose, sandlewood and jasmine. Home.

"Where's my little girl?" I asked.

"Here, Daddy," she called from the stairs.

Esmerelda had my beautiful black hair, with a slight curl like Zana's but her mother's facial features and slender figure. She looked like a Black, alright. But... she wasn't pureblood. Zana was a... mudblood. I didn't care. She was perfect for me.

"Come here!" I said as she ran to me and wrapped her arms around me.

I gently ruffled her hair and kissed her forehead.

"I know who's birthday it is tomorrow!" I smirked.

She giggled.

"Oh do you, Daddy?"

"Of course," I replied," a special little girl called Esmerelda Black."

"Yup!"

"Let's have some breakfast together,  huh?" Zana suggested.

"Mmm... yummy!" Elda said.

"Yum, yum," I teased, tickling her.

She laughed and ran to the kitchen.

"I'm so glad you could make it, Cyg," Suzana said, leaning against me," I missed you."

"I would do anything for you," I answered truthfully," I missed you so, so much."

"Are you really going to leave her?" She asked.

"Yes. Soon," I said.

"And come here?"

"I'm you want me to..."

"Don't be silly, Cyg,"she laughed musically, "of course I want you here. We both do."

Andromeda's P.O.V.

I didn't know what to do. Narcissa had caught us... and I think she let on to Mother.
I didn't have anyone to turn to. Bella would be angry. Very angry. And Cissy... well.

"Help me! Make it stop!"

I jumped from my seat near the window as I heard the cry for help.

I ran to the common room to see Cissy clutching her stomach, rolling on the floor in tears.

I hesitated.

"...Cissy...?" I asked as others ran downstairs to see what was wrong.

I gingerly kneeled beside her.

"Are... are you alright?"

"Move, Andromeda!" Bella growled, pushing me out of the way. She was angry. I could see fire in her black eyes and she only called me my full name when she was serious or angry.

I gulped and obeyed.

"Away, Black!" Cissy's boyfriend snapped at Bella," I'll handle it."

"You won't know what to do, dumbass," she scoffed, gently lifting Cissy off the floor.

Then they left, Narcissa's cries fading away.
