AN: This is where you met Fem!Percy. Her full name is Persephone so they, obviously, still call her Percy.
Disclaimer: I still own nothing.
Thalia advanced carefully, arrow notched in her bow, the string taunt. Jason stood behind her, dagger out and at the ready.
He was four now, Thalia was eleven. Still pretty young but she was getting there. Their first safe house had been in an abandon warehouse somewhere in Brooklyn.
Suddenly, they heard something that sounded like something rustling coming from the right. Thalia motioned to Jason to go around while she went forward.
Thalia advanced carefully, trying not to make any noise. She saw a dark figure huddled against the wall, covered in what looked like a blanket. She saw Jason approaching the figure slowly, like her, from the other side, his dagger glinting in the dim moonlight.
The figure let out a small moan and Thalia realized that it was female. The girl rolled over in her sleep. A beam of moonlight landed on her face so Thalia could finally see more than just her shape. Thalia gasped when she saw the girl's face.
It was just a little girl who looked to be about Jason's age, if not a little older. She had messy black hair that went to her shoulders and a Greek completion. Her features were delicate but tuff at the same time even in sleep, even though Thalia wasn't really sure how that was possible. Her feature were marred slightly by the thin cut that curved around her left eye, it went from the middle of her forehead to just below her eye. It didn't look very bad, but Thalia knew that would leave a scar.
Thalia motioned for Jason to stand down and then she bent down so that she was crouching beside the girl. She shook her shoulder slightly, trying to wake her up so that she wouldn't scream.
It didn't really work out.
"Hey," Thalia said soothingly "Hey, are you alright? Can you wake up? Don't worry, your alright. We're not going to hurt you."
Needless to say, as soon as the girl was conscious enough to realize that she wasn't alone, she screamed at the top of her lungs. Not that Thalia could really blame her, if she had been in her position at that age, she probably would have soon the same.
The girl scrambled to her feet and backed away from them so that her back was against the wall.
Now that the girl was awake, Thalia could see her eyes. They were a shade of sea green unique to the sea god himself. She knew because he came to her in a dream recently. He told her that she should probably go back to they're first hideout. He also told her to not fear the sea.
She understood now.
Now she understood. This girl must be his daughter and he wanted Thalia to take the girl with them, to train her, to try to keep her alive. And she would, too. This was no way in Tartarus she was going to let this little girl die. Her gift, she supposed, for taking care of his daughter would the fact that she wouldn't have to be afraid of drowning if she went into the ocean or a lake.
Another child of the big three. Was Hades the only one to keep his oath? What could happen to this little girl for being born against an oath on the river Styx? Would could happen to her or Jason?
All these thoughts clouded her mind when she looked into the girl's sea green eyes. She shook them off quickly.
'Don't think like that, Thalia.' she scolded herself.
Thalia rose out of her crouch slowly. "It's okay," she said "Don't worry. Everything's alright. I'm Thalia Grace and this is my brother Jason."
The girl pressed herself against the wall, seemingly trying to melt into in. She eyed their weapons carefully as if trying to find a way to get them away from their owners and use them against them.
