Chapter 1 The neighborhood...

Well, for starters the neighborhood was, well, awesome! Parties every block, I mean what teen wouldn't love this?! Obviously my dad wasn't to fond with it 'cause he didn't think we should live here anymore after he bought it like 2 days ago! I swear he needs mental therepy... Right now I was supposed to be unpacking but I was looking out the window at this boy. Who was he!? He was really hot, no lie. He was walking up to my house.... O.M.G.... This could turn out great or really bad... I raced down the stairs and answered the door before he even came close to my door. My dad was going to get it but he just sat back down and continued watching t.v. Lazy... I saw his face and he saw mine. His sparkly blue eyes were like like deep blue ocean.. It's waves running over the sand. Underneath, small fishies swam by your feet. They were really breath taking. I found that I couldn't talk properly and stuttered every word I said that night. He had blondeish-brownish hair. Maybe a tan color, by the way, he was tanned! Wooow someone is outside a lot.
"Hello, I am Joshua, umm I live in the house across from you. My mom made you guys some cookies too." He smiled. He seemed nice, but maybe he wasn't.. Whatever he is hot! I smiled back and this isn't how I tried to sound but I did....
"Ummmm, H-H-Hiiiii.... T-Thanks for t-the c-c-c-c-cookies..." I giggled and he laughed. Wow I just embarrassed myself big-time.... Nice right??
"Yeah, she bakes all the time! Your welcome it was no problem. I'll see ya around? Oh, and here is my number." He gave me a note with his number on it and grinned then said, "Don't worry I have that effect on aaaallllllll girls." Then he winked.. Maybe concieted but still soo fine!! Just then I remembered my dad was still sitting right there. He smiled an annoying smile and watched football. I rolled my eyes and ran (sooo fast) upstairs to my lovely room. Then I packed. Ohhhh packing, it's wonderful isn't it? Nope... It is NOT!!!!!!!!!! I hate it. I would rather be at a party, or with Joshua... Omg I forgot to tell him my name! Crap...
"Stella!!" My dad called. I rushed downstairs and stood there my jaw hanging open because he was.. He was.. He was, cooking! Whoa I thought I would never see the day.. Cool, I hope it's good. "Dinner's ready Stella." Then I sat down at the dinner table.
"Ummmm why are you cooking?" I asked him with some suspicion in my voice.
"Why wouldn't I be?"
"It's mom, isn't it?"
"No!-Yes... You haven't had a homecooked meal in years Stella.. So I decided to cook..." Tears came to my eyes then I cried like I haven't in years. My dad held me close and rocked me back and forth while I sobbed. "Shh, it's ok Stella..." Then I hugged him and sat down to a bowl of CLAM CHOWDER... This might not turn out good. But it did. Very good actually but we ate in silence. The little scene was a shocker to dad 'cause I NEVER cry.. NEVER.. Get it. got it? Good! Haha I learned that back in New York. We are in California now though.. (Sorry, it's in North America A.K.A USA lol. Just sayin in case you lived somewhere else and didn't know.. :) I moved faaaaaar away, yup very far and I wasn't happy either. But the fact of seeing Joshua was good. Joshua wouldn't get out of my mind that day and it kinda sucked.. Well, sorta. I couldn't think straight. At all! It wasn't fun...
Like it??!!! Tell me! :D
