It's been 3 years since I last saw him. I wasn't sure if he still cares or he just flushed his feelings in the fucking toilet. Nevertheless, I still love him.
I needed to unwind. I needed a time out from work. I still haven't moved on. Dating doesn't seem to work out when you feel that you have found the one, you just want to chase him all your life.
I decided to call up my parents and ask them for a weekend getaway to Santorini.
"Mom! Are you free on friday until tuesday?" I asked her.
"Hey sweetie, erm, yes I think we are. Wait, why?" She asked.
"I wanted to take you guys, I mean myself included, to Santorini!!!!" I explained.
There was a short silence.
"Oh, well, okay. I'll go and tell your Dad. What about the expenses though?"
"I got this. Don't worry about it. Just pack and get ready." I said.

Friday
LAX"Hey Dad!" I said, approaching my father for a hug.
"Hey sweetheart, how's work?" He asked.
"Oh you know, quite stressful but really fun." I said.
We arrived in Santorini on Saturday, 3 AM. I decided two rooms since I know they would want to do something which I would rather die instead of seeing. We slept for a while before having breakfast.
We took a short tour around Santorini, taking pictures of the breath-taking view of the beach, the houses..
It was amazing. I haven't had much fun with my parents in years. I was happy that I was with them.
You couldn't get a table at most places because they were already packed with tourists. You have to get a reservation before you could get in.
I decided to book a table at this beautiful restaurant over looking the whole city for our dinner later.
"Hi, Excuse me? Can I get a table for three?" I said to the guest attendant.
"I'm sorry, Madame, we can't accept reservations for dinner tonight. We'll be having a wedding rehearsal dinner this evening. We'll be starting in an hour so we can't really serve you." He explained.
"Oh. Well, that's fine. Some other day then." I said.
"We'll hope to see you again soon. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Fuck, I forgot my cigarettes.
I searched for a convenience store because the hotel I'm staying at doesn't sell cigarettes, I mean, come on. I only had 3 sticks left in my pack which I inconveniently forgot. Jesus.
Finally, found a store that sells cigarettes.
"Hi, a pack of Camel please, and a lighter." I said to the woman.
"And for you, Sir?" She said asking another customer.
"A pack of Marlboro Red."
I DON'T WANT TO TURN MY HEAD GOD DAMN IT. OF ALL THE PLACES. PLEASE DON'T TELL ME IT'S HIM, PLEASE LET IT BE SOMEONE ELSE.
I turned my head in curiosity, I'm pretty sure I'll pass out after this. But I was sure it was his voice. I saw him standing there, with nothing to say.
His eyes were telling me "WHY?" I'm not sure but I can still read his eyes. After a long time of being apart, I still haven't forgotten the feeling of being near him.
"Oh" he said.
I couldn't say anything. I took my pack and decided to go out of the store. I don't what to do next but to just disappear.
I went out, a few meters from the store to smoke.
"You forgot your lighter." He said.
"Oh, thanks." I said as I took the lighter from his hand, slightly touching his cold fingers.
I lit my cigarette.
"So, how are you?" I asked. Damn it woman, learn to shut up.
He turned his head away. "I'm good, I guess. I'm actually getting married tomorrow." He said.

Sorry, it took so long to update. I have totally forgotten about this story. I got so busy and all.
This update has been sitting along my phone for 4 months already.
Anyway. I hope this makes up for it. Hehe.
Cheers!
